“A few months earlier Bharat (above & below) had been bitten by a rabid dog. He went to see a doctor who gave him prescription medicine for the bite. But he could not recover. The potentially life-threatening rabies infection from the bite had spread in his body. His doctor referred him to the better-equipped hospital in the city. While he was arranging for the funds for the treatment, he came across our Elijah Challenge workers. They came, and over a period of five evenings ministered to Bharat with supernatural authority and power in the name of Jesus Christ. Bharat then experienced miraculous healing. He then believed and accepted Jesus as his only Lord and Savior.”

“Muni Munda’s infant girl (below) would cry every night after seeing something. She would be terribly frightened. This continued for weeks, and her parents could not understand what was happening to their baby girl. Their neighbors advised them to see a sorcerer, which they did. But after the sorcerer treated her, the nightly attacks continued. Then our Elijah Challenge workers came and ministered to her in Jesus’ wondrous name. The attacks promptly ceased, and the nightly fits of crying and screaming stopped. After that, both husband and wife accepted Jesus Christ.”

“For two years a young girl named Dulari (below) suffered from the worse kind of abnormal menstrual bleeding. She would start bleeding unexpectedly at any time. For a long time she had been under medication, but the abnormal flow continued. Finally, Kulari sank into a deep depression. But when our Elijah Challenge workers came and ministered to her with power and authority in the name of the Messiah Jesus, the abnormal flow stopped and she was miraculously healed. After that Kulari accepted Jesus Christ.”

“Sifrani Gudia, a young girl (below), had severe stomach pain. Her parents took her to the city hospital Rourkela. There medicine was prescribed for her, but after a week the pain would not subside. So her parents took her to another hospital. But following the treatment there, Sifrani was still in pain. Then her father brought her to one of our Elijah Challenge house churches, where our workers ministered to her in Jesus’ name. The pain vanished and Sifrani was wonderfully healed. The family then believed and accepted Jesus Christ.”

“For three years an elderly woman named Jenisha Kerketta (below) suffered from back pain. She had taken medicine for a long time, but her back pain persisted. So she decided to increase the dosage of the medicine. But that resulted in Jenisha becoming very physically weak. Then our Elijah Challenge workers ministered to her in the name of our Messiah Jesus. Within a few days the pain disappeared and Jenisha was healed. She then believed and accepted Jesus Christ.”

The Elijah Challenge equips nameless harvest workers to reach resistant people groups fruitfully by training them to heal the sick miraculously and consistently as Jesus did and as he promised that believers would do (John 14:11-12)—as irrefutable evidence that Jesus is the Messiah and the only way to the One True God who created the heavens and the earth. These thousand reports (out of thousands of reports) were received from our workers during approximately the past four to five years.
Since 2018 our trained workers in and around Odisha have planted 1,755 new house churches with 65,730 new believers as of December 9, 2023, reaching 42 previously unreached people groups, including high caste Hindu groups which are among the most resistant and difficult to reach. This is in the region of Orissa (Odisha) State alone, considered the poorest state in India where Fundamentalist Hinduism reigns. Water baptism is illegal. Up in North India our trained harvest workers are seeing similar harvests among the Hindus and Sikhs.
