Couple forced to leave their home due to demonic infestation
“For seven long years, Nilabati (above & below) and her husband suffered from unusual demonic activity in their home. Blood would just appear for no apparent reason. They would hear the sound of something like sand falling from their roof. They would hear screams. At night they would be tormented by horrible nightmares. Several times they had summoned sorcerers to utter mantras over their home, but the demons would not leave.
After the seven years of suffering, Nilabati and her husband were forced to move out of their home to live in a rental house. Around that time they came across our Elijah Challenge workers and asked them for help. Over a period of a few evenings our workers went to the demon-infested home and in the all-authoritative name of the Messiah Jesus commanded the demons to leave. The demons left, and the demonic manifestations ceased. Nilabati and her husband believed and accepted Jesus as their only Lord and Savior.”

Man addicted to alcohol would beat and quarrel with wife and with neighbors
“Sambu Majhi (below) was addicted to alcohol. Every day he would quarrel with his wife and other villagers. For no reason at all, he would at times beat his wife. His wife and the other villagers had to endure this for a long time.
One day his wife heard about our house church. She approached our Elijah Challenge workers and spoke with them. She then began attending our house church for a few weeks.
One day she brought her husband to the house church to receive ministry. Our workers prayed over him and with power and authority ministered to him for his addiction in Jesus’ magnificent name. The Lord touched him and changed his life. He stopped drinking and quarrelling with his wife and the other villagers. He was totally changed by our Messiah Jesus, and accepted Him as his Lord and Savior. Now at times he accompanies our harvest workers to share about our wonderful Lord Jesus.”

Hindu man had life-threatening diabetes with blood sugar level 350
“A Hindu man named Kamala Parija (below) had life-threatening diabetes with his blood sugar level measuring 350. (Normal is level is approximately 100.) He had stopped eating and drinking for a few days, and his family thought he was going to die. He was taken to the hospital where medicine was prescribed for him. But since his condition there did not improve, and he was returned home. Then our Elijah Challenge workers came and regularly over a period of a few days ministered to Kamala with supernatural authority and power in the wondrous name of our Messiah Jesus. The Lord touched him and Kamala rose from his deathbed healed with normal blood sugar. He then accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.”

Demon-possessed woman could not be helped by sorcerer
“For fifteen days a Hindu woman named Sabitri Bhatra (below) was demon-possessed. Because she would scream, run away from the home and tear her clothes, her family was forced to confine her in a room. The village sorcerer came and tried to deliver her using mantras and sacrifices, but failed. Then her family heard about our Elijah Challenge workers, and asked for their help. Our harvest workers then went to their home and rebuked the demon, commanding it with authority to come out of Sabitri in the name of Jesus Christ. The demon left her, and she was wonderfully set free. She then accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior.”

Woman miraculously healed from four years of pain in her leg
“For four years, a Hindu woman named Dropati Munda (below) had to endure pain in her right leg. Her doctor prescribed medicine for the pain, but the pain persisted despite Dropati taking it faithfully over a long period of time. Then our Elijah Challenge workers ministered to her in the wondrous name of our Messiah Jesus. The pain in her leg miraculously vanished. After that Dropati believed and accepted Jesus Christ.”

The Elijah Challenge equips nameless harvest workers to reach resistant people groups fruitfully by training them to heal the sick miraculously and consistently as Jesus did and as he promised that believers would do (John 14:11-12)—as irrefutable evidence that Jesus is the Messiah and the only way to the One True God who created the heavens and the earth. These thousand reports (out of thousands of reports) were received from our workers during approximately the past four to five years.
Since 2018 our trained workers in and around Odisha have planted 1,755 new house churches with 65,730 new believers as of December 9, 2023, reaching 42 previously unreached people groups, including high caste Hindu groups which are among the most resistant and difficult to reach. This is in the region of Orissa (Odisha) State alone, considered the poorest state in India where Fundamentalist Hinduism reigns. Water baptism is illegal. Up in North India our trained harvest workers are seeing similar harvests among the Hindus and Sikhs.
