Left barren for ten years despite every effort, a Hindu woman was subject to shame and humiliation in India. BUT Jesus…!
“Sasmita Pradhan (above & below) had been barren and childless for ten years—a condition which brings shame in the culture of India. She had consulted with several doctors in various district-level hospitals and seen both allopathic and ayurvedic specialists. Sasmita even resorted to seeing a sorcerer and for a long period of time had followed his instructions. But all was to no avail, and she felt doomed to misery, humiliation and being an outcast in Indian society. But then she heard about our Elijah Challenge workers, and asked them to pray for her. She attended one of our house churches for a few weeks where our workers ministered to her with supernatural authority and power in the wondrous name of the Messiah Jesus. Miraculously Sasmita conceived and discovered that she is now pregnant. She and her grateful husband have now accepted Jesus their only Lord and Savior.”

Mentally-ill Hindu woman had been treated in several hospitals at great expense, but could not recover. Then…
“For fifteen years, a young Hindu woman named Dipika Minz (below) suffered from mental illness. Her parents had taken her to several hospitals seeking treatment for her. But despite the large sum of money they spent for her in the various hospitals, Dipika’s mental state remained. Then our Elijah Challenge workers came and ministered to her with supernatural authority in the name of Jesus Christ. After ministering to her once a week over a period of two weeks, Dipika was miraculously healed and delivered from the horrible affliction. Her entire family decided to accept Jesus Christ.”

Both kidneys had failed, requiring Hindu woman to receive dialysis. She could not sleep at night. But…
“Both of Tula’s (below) kidneys had failed, requiring her to receive dialysis five times. Her condition rendered her unable to sleep at night. Our Elijah Challenge workers came and ministered to her in the wondrous name of our Messiah Jesus. After that the doctor informed the family that her condition had dramatically improved. Tula felt much better and was able to sleep at night. The family then decided to accepted Jesus Christ.”

Hindu woman suffered from a problem in her spine, making it difficult for her to stand. Medication failed to help…
“For the past year and a half, Laren Kujur (below) suffered from a problem in her spine. She found it difficult to stand and to perform her daily chores. The medication she had taken did not help her. Then our Elijah Challenge workers happened to be ministering in her village. They stopped by her home to minister healing to her in Jesus’ name. Laren’s spine was then miraculously healed by the Lord’s supernatural authority and power. She then accepted our Messiah Jesus as her Lord and Savior.”

Hindu woman tormented by arthritic pain for two years and could not be helped by prescription medication…
“A Hindu woman named Gurubari Majhi (below) had arthritis for two years. She had already seen a doctor and for a long time had taken the medication prescribed for her. But the pain of arthritis continued to afflict her. Then our Elijah Challenge workers came and ministered to Gurubari in the name of the Messiah Jesus. She was miraculously delivered from the arthritic pain. After being set free from her prolonged suffering, Gurubati accepted our Messiah Jesus as her personal Savior along with her family members.”

The Elijah Challenge equips nameless harvest workers to reach resistant people groups fruitfully by training them to heal the sick miraculously and consistently as Jesus did and as he promised that believers would do (John 14:11-12)—as irrefutable evidence that Jesus is the Messiah and the only way to the One True God who created the heavens and the earth. These thousand reports (out of thousands of reports) were received from our workers during approximately the past four to five years.
Since 2018 our trained workers in and around Odisha have planted 1,755 new house churches with 65,730 new believers as of December 9, 2023, reaching 42 previously unreached people groups, including high caste Hindu groups which are among the most resistant and difficult to reach. This is in the region of Orissa (Odisha) State alone, considered the poorest state in India where Fundamentalist Hinduism reigns. Water baptism is illegal. Up in North India our trained harvest workers are seeing similar harvests among the Hindus and Sikhs.
