“A Hindu woman named Haripriya (above & below) had been under attack by demons, especially during their Hindu festival. The demon would physically attack her hand and her leg. The family brought in a sorcerer to help, but he could do nothing. One day the demon totally possessed Haripriya. She was totally out of her mind and out of control. People had to tie her up and bring her to one of our house churches. There our Elijah Challenge workers rebuked the demon, commanding it with authority to leave her in the name of Jesus Christ. The demon left. Then both Haripriya and her husband put their faith in Jesus as their only Lord and Savior.”

“Jagadish Naik (below) had been diagnosed with blood cancer. He had already taken prescription medicine for a long time, but actually he became weaker and weaker. Day by day his condition continued to deteriorate, and Jagadish feared that would not survive much longer. Then our Elijah Challenge workers came and shared with him about Jesus. With the Lord’s supernatural authority and power, they ministered healing to him in the name of Jesus over a period of one week. Jagadish was touched by the Lord and miraculously healed from the blood cancer. He accepted Jesus Christ.”

“For the last year, Laxmi Barla (below) suffered from a mental disorder. Her husband had taken her to various hospitals for treatment, but even after treatment by a psychiatrist, Laxmi did not recover. Her memory was totally gone, she did not know what she was saying, and she had no idea where she was going. Then our Elijah Challenge workers ministered to her in the marvelous name of our Messiah Jesus. Her mind and memory were wonderfully restored. Her family then accepted Jesus Christ.”

“A man named Surat Oram (below) had a bad case of jaundice. The prescription medicine given to him by his doctor was not effective. So Surat was forced to leave the state of Goa where he was employed and to return home to Orissa. Our Elijah Challenge workers came and ministered to him in the wondrous name of our Messiah Jesus, and Surat was totally healed from the jaundice. He then believed and put his faith the Lord Jesus Christ.”

“Sukanti (below) had arthritis for six months, and felt very weak. As a result she could no longer work whether from her home or outside in the family’s field. She consulted her village doctor who prescribed medication for her, but her condition remained. And Sukanti could not afford better treatment at the hospital in the town. But when our Elijah Challenge workers came and ministered to her in Jesus’ wondrous name, Sukanti was miraculously healed. She and her family then accepted Jesus Christ.”

The Elijah Challenge equips nameless harvest workers to reach resistant people groups fruitfully by training them to heal the sick miraculously and consistently as Jesus did and as he promised that believers would do (John 14:11-12)—as irrefutable evidence that Jesus is the Messiah and the only way to the One True God who created the heavens and the earth. These thousand reports (out of thousands of reports) were received from our workers during approximately the past four to five years.
Since 2018 our trained workers in and around Odisha have planted 1,205 new house churches with over 48,000 new believers through May 2022, reaching 38 previously unreached people groups, including high caste Hindu groups which are among the most resistant and difficult to reach. This is in the region of Orissa (Odisha) State alone, considered the poorest state in India where Fundamentalist Hinduism reigns. Water baptism is illegal. Up in North India our trained harvest workers are seeing similar harvests among the Hindus and Sikhs.
