“One night a young lady named Sangita (above & below) woke up to go to the bathroom. She walked a few steps to the bathroom and then collapsed onto the floor unconscious. Her family rushed over to help her, and after a few minutes they realized that she had been attacked by a demon spirit. For hours after the attack Sangita could not open her eyes and talk. Then they called our Elijah Challenge workers who happened to live in their village. Our workers came and commanded the demon to leave Sangita in the wondrous name of our Messiah Jesus. After that she was totally set free and back to normal again. Her family then believed and accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.”

“For four months both hands of an older woman named Janaki (below) were mysteriously disabled. She could no longer use her hands to do anything. Her family took her the hospital and a scan was done on her hands, but the scan revealed nothing abnormal. The doctor nevertheless prescribed medication for her, but the condition of her hands remained. Then our Elijah Challenge workers came and ministered to her with supernatural power and authority in the wondrous name of our Messiah Jesus. Janaki’s hands were miraculously healed and she could use them normally. After that Janaki and her family accepted Jesus Christ as their only Lord and Savior.”

“For two months Tapasi (below) was sick with a continuous fever. She had consulted with a doctor who prescribed medicine for her. But after taking it her condition actually worsened. Finally Tapasi was bedridden for ten days. It became difficult for her to eat and even to talk. Then our Elijah Challenge workers came and ministered to her in the marvelous name of Jesus. The fever then subsided and Tapasi was completely healed. Along with her husband, she then believed and accepted Jesus Christ.”

The local doctor had refused to treat such a severe case of diarrhea, and there was no other medical treatment available in his village. The nearest hospital was very far away. The Elijah Challenge equips nameless harvest workers to reach resistant people groups fruitfully by training them to heal the sick miraculously and consistently as Jesus did and as he promised that believers would do (John 14:11-12)—as irrefutable evidence that Jesus is the Messiah and the only way to the One True God who created the heavens and the earth. These thousand reports (out of thousands of reports) were received from our workers during approximately the past four to five years.
Since 2018 our trained workers in and around Odisha have planted 1,205 new house churches with over 48,000 new believers through May 2022, reaching 38 previously unreached people groups, including high caste Hindu groups which are among the most resistant and difficult to reach. This is in the region of Orissa (Odisha) State alone, considered the poorest state in India where Fundamentalist Hinduism reigns. Water baptism is illegal. Up in North India our trained harvest workers are seeing similar harvests among the Hindus and Sikhs.
