“After three years of marriage, Niyati (above & below) failed to conceive. She had already consulted a doctor who had prescribed a drug for her, but after taking it for a few months she still could not conceive. Her mother-in-law, very disappointed at her failure to provide grandchildren for the family—something very much expected in Indian culture—began to mistreat her. For a few months, Niyati took medicine from an ayurvedic doctor, but again with no results. Somehow the family heard about our Elijah Challenge workers, and called them. They went and ministered to Niyati with the supernatural authority and power of the name of Jesus Christ. She is now three months pregnant. Niyati believed and accepted Jesus as her only Lord and Savior.”

“A young boy named Pabitra Rohidas (below) had a persistent fever and cough that would not go away. Even after taking medicine his temperature remained high and the cough persisted. Because for the past month the prevalence of COVID-19 had increased in their region, their doctor advised Pabitra to take a booster shot. But Pabitra was brought to one of our Elijah Challenge house churches where our workers ministered to him in the name of the One and Only Son of God, Jesus. His fever and cough miraculously ceased, and his delighted parents then put their faith in the Messiah Jesus.”

“For a long time, Rukmani’s stomach (below) was infected. She also experienced pain in her chest. She had been on the medicine her doctor had prescribed for her, but there was no relief at all. Then our Elijah Challenge workers came and ministered to Rukmani in the name of the Messiah Jesus. She was marvelously healed from both the stomach infection as well as the chest pain.”

“Sunita (below), a young lady, experienced a problem with menstruation for six months causing severe pain in her abdomen for days at a time. She had already received treatment from two different hospitals, but the problem persisted. Then our Elijah Challenge workers ministered to her in the wondrous name of our Lord Jesus, and Sunita was wonderfully healed. She then accepted Jesus Christ.”

“For three months, an older woman named Liamma (below) suffered from both arthritis and gastritis. Among other things, she had difficulty eating. The problems were so severe that she had to stop working alone. Medicine had failed to help her. Then she visited one of our Elijah Challenge house churches where our workers ministered to her in the wonderful name of Jesus. Liamma was then miraculously healed from both infirmities. She then believed and accepted Jesus as her only Lord and Savior.”

The Elijah Challenge equips nameless harvest workers to reach resistant people groups fruitfully by training them to heal the sick miraculously and consistently as Jesus did and as he promised that believers would do (John 14:11-12)—as irrefutable evidence that Jesus is the Messiah and the only way to the One True God who created the heavens and the earth. These thousand reports (out of thousands of reports) were received from our workers during approximately the past four to five years.
Since 2018 our trained workers in and around Odisha have planted 1,205 new house churches with over 48,000 new believers through May 2022, reaching 38 previously unreached people groups, including high caste Hindu groups which are among the most resistant and difficult to reach. This is in the region of Orissa (Odisha) State alone, considered the poorest state in India where Fundamentalist Hinduism reigns. Water baptism is illegal. Up in North India our trained harvest workers are seeing similar harvests among the Hindus and Sikhs.
