“Um final de semana de muita manifestação do poder de Deus em Vitória da Conquista, na Bahia.
A primeira parada do Desafio de Elias na Missão Sertão Nordestino foi na Igreja Batista Farol, em Vitória da Conquista – Bahia. O treinamento evangelístico ocorreu entre os dias 13 a 15 de setembro e foi incrível.
A Igreja Batista Farol, sob a liderança dos pastores Evanaldo e Andreia, está localizada em um bairro que já foi considerado o mais perigoso da cidade. Ainda hoje o tráfico, a idolatria, a feitiçaria, os vícios e os abusos sexuais têm escravizado muitas vidas.
Tanto no templo, durante os três dias de treinamento, quanto no prático de casa em casa vimos muitos milagres. Verdadeiramente o Evangelho foi pregado com poder e autoridade do mesmo modo que Jesus ensinou os Seus discípulos e ordenou que fizessem quando os enviou para proclamar as Boas-Novas do Reino de Deus dizendo “Curem os doentes que ali houver e digam-lhes: ‘O Reino de Deus está próximo de vocês’.” Lucas 10.9
Foram três dias intensos de treinamento no templo que funciona em um ginásio onde há um projeto social que inclui o Circo Oxênte, que é um circo missionário.
Dentre os relatos mais comuns de cura podemos destacar dor no maxilar, braço, ombro, cólica intestinal, dor de dente, dor de garganta, de cabeça, queimação nas pernas, costela trincada, coração, dermatite, dor nos rins, coluna, além das libertações de pessoas opressas incluindo angústia e depressão.
Ao entrarmos nas casas o poder de Deus se manifestou grandemente e no culto evangelístico muitos enfermos foram curados e entregaram suas vidas ao Senhor Jesus. Foi um tempo muito precioso.
Além das curas e libertações graças aos sinais houve uma reconciliação que muito nos impactou. Como está escrito “Vejam, eu enviarei a vocês o profeta Elias antes do grande e terrível dia do Senhor. Ele fará com que os corações dos pais se voltem para seus filhos, e os corações dos filhos para seus pais; do contrário eu virei e castigarei a terra com maldição.” Malaquias 4:5,6

“A weekend of much manifestation of the power of God in Vitória da Conquista, Bahia.
The first stop of The Elijah Challenge in the Sertão Nordestino Mission was at the Lighthouse Baptist Church (Igreja Batista Farol), in Vitória da Conquista – Bahia. The evangelistic training took place from September 13 to 15 and was just amazing.
Lighthouse Baptist Church, under the leadership of pastors Evanaldo and Andreia, is located in a neighborhood that was once considered the most dangerous in the city. Even today trafficking, idolatry, witchcraft, addictions and sexual abuse have enslaved many lives.
Both in the church during the three days of training and in the house-to-house practice we saw many miracles. Truly the Gospel was preached with power and authority just as Jesus taught His disciples and commanded them to do so when He sent them to proclaim the Good News of the Kingdom of God by saying, “Heal the sick who are there and tell them, ‘The Kingdom of God has come near to you.” (Luke 10:9)
There were three intense days of training in the church that operates in a gymnasium where there is a social project that includes the Circus Oxênte, which is a missionary circus.
The most common healing reports include jaw, arm, shoulder, intestinal colic, toothache, sore throat, headache, burning leg, cracked rib, heart, dermatitis, kidney pain, spine, and releases from oppressed people including anguish and depression.
As we entered the homes the power of God was greatly manifested and in the evangelistic service many sick were healed and surrendered their lives to the Lord Jesus. It was a very precious time.
In addition to the healings and releases thanks to the signs there was a reconciliation that greatly impacted us. As it is written, “”See, I will send the prophet Elijah to you before that great and dreadful day of the LORD comes. He will turn the hearts of the parents to their children, and the hearts of the children to their parents; or else I will come and strike the land with total destruction.” (Malachi 4: 5,6)
