“For a long time, Pramila Kujur (above & below) was possessed and tormented by a demon. Her parents had summoned a sorcerer to come deliver her from the demon, but he failed. So she continued to disrupt the daily life of her family by shouting, screaming, and throwing things around the house. Then our Elijah Challenge workers came and with supernatural authority in the name of Jesus commanded the demon to leave her. The demon obeyed and left Pramila. She then accepted Jesus Christ as her only Lord and Savior.”

“An infant girl named Piu Majhi (below with her mother) would get sick frequently. Her parents would have to take her to the hospital where she would be treated with medicine. But last week Piu came down with a very bad fever and diarrhea. She then stopped eating, and became very weak. The medication her parents were giving her had no effect. Then our Elijah Challenge workers came and ministered to Baby Piu with power and authority in the incomparable name of the Messiah Jesus. After her long time of illness Baby Piu was finally and wondrously well. Both her mother and father than accepted Jesus as their only Lord and Savior.”

For months she had taken the medication prescribed for her by her doctor, but she experienced no relief from the pain. Then our Elijah Challenge workers came and ministered to her with supernatural authority and power in the name of our Messiah Jesus. The pain miraculously disappeared and she was healed. Along with her husband, Mina accepted Jesus Christ as the gospel was shared with them.”

“For seven months a woman named Jani (below) was ravaged by a fever. After seeing a doctor and taking the medication he prescribed, she would feel well. But then the fever would return. She could not get completely well. Then she heard about one of our Elijah Challenge house churches. She went and attended the meeting where our workers prayed over her and ministered to her with power and authority in the name of Jesus Christ. Jani was finally and wonderfully healed from the tormenting fever. She then believed and accepted Jesus.”

The Elijah Challenge equips nameless harvest workers to reach resistant people groups fruitfully by training them to heal the sick miraculously and consistently as Jesus did and as he promised that believers would do (John 14:11-12)—as irrefutable evidence that Jesus is the Messiah and the only way to the One True God who created the heavens and the earth. These thousand reports (out of thousands of reports) were received from our workers during approximately the past four to five years.
Since 2018 our trained workers in and around Odisha have planted 1,205 new house churches with over 48,000 new believers through May 2022, reaching 38 previously unreached people groups, including high caste Hindu groups which are among the most resistant and difficult to reach. This is in the region of Orissa (Odisha) State alone, considered the poorest state in India where Fundamentalist Hinduism reigns. Water baptism is illegal. Up in North India our trained harvest workers are seeing similar harvests among the Hindus and Sikhs.
