“Gori’s (above & below) husband was an alcoholic. He would beat her nearly every day. Without telling him she went to the hospital where she was given a drug to help him overcome his addiction. Secretly she fed her husband the drug. But it had no effect at all. After that Gori went to a sorcerer. He gave her some medicine for her husband and also spoke a mantra over him. But his efforts failed to put a dent in his drinking. Finally, Gori attended one of our Elijah Challenge house churches and shared her husband’s addiction with our trained harvest workers. They prayed for him. After that, with supernatural authority in the name of our Messiah Jesus, from the house church they rebuked the spirit of alcohol addiction enslaving her husband without his being present. Wonderfully, her husband was delivered from the addiction and stopped drinking. Gori then believed and accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior. She is now asking for prayer for her husband that he also will believe in Jesus!

“Since childhood a man named Pius (below) suffered from a problem with his spine. The pain would be especially severe during cold winters. He had gone to various doctors for treatment, but experienced no relief from the prolonged torment in his life despite the considerable amount of money he had spent on doctors and medicine. Then he heard about our ministry, and contacted our Elijah Challenge workers. They came and laid hands on him and rebuked the infirmity in the wondrous name of the Messiah Jesus. With supernatural authority they commanded his spine to be restored. Pius was then amazingly healed and set free from his long-term misery. The doctor she consulted gave her prescription medicine to take, but she could not recover. Then she went to see a sorcerer for treatment. But his efforts to deliver her also failed. And so the terrifying nightmares continued. Then our Elijah Challenge workers came and ministered to her in the name of the Messiah Jesus. Padma was then wonderfully delivered from the demon and the dreadful nightmares. She and her family then accepted Jesus Christ.”

“A dear woman named Mani (below) had had malaria for two months. Her doctor had prescribed medicine for her, but after taking it Mani continued to suffer from the disease. No longer wanting to eat and drink, she became very weak. Her concerned husband then brought her to one of our house churches where our Elijah Challenge workers ministered to her with authority and power in the name of the Messiah Jesus. Mani was then miraculously healed from the distressing malaria. She and her family then accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.”

The Elijah Challenge equips nameless harvest workers to reach resistant people groups fruitfully by training them to heal the sick miraculously and consistently as Jesus did and as he promised that believers would do (John 14:11-12)—as irrefutable evidence that Jesus is the Messiah and the only way to the One True God who created the heavens and the earth. These thousand reports (out of thousands of reports) were received from our workers during approximately the past four to five years.
Since 2018 our trained workers in and around Odisha have planted 1,755 new house churches with 65,730 new believers as of December 9, 2023, reaching 42 previously unreached people groups, including high caste Hindu groups which are among the most resistant and difficult to reach. This is in the region of Orissa (Odisha) State alone, considered the poorest state in India where Fundamentalist Hinduism reigns. Water baptism is illegal. Up in North India our trained harvest workers are seeing similar harvests among the Hindus and Sikhs.
