The Elijah Challenge Training on Zoom begins on Wednesday, July 5

“Greetings in Jesus’ name!  Despite the severe persecution taking place in most parts of India, we have an outstanding report to share. Praise the Lord!

A woman named Rinkey Rout is from a high cast family devoted to Hinduism. Her childhood was spent in a region called Brundaban in the state of Uttar Pradesh. In Brundaban is a very well-known Hindu shrine where it is claimed the Hindu god Krishna was born. Her family had sent her there to receive special power from the Hindu gods. Rinkey would sing in their meetings in adoration to them.

After marriage Rinkey gave birth to a baby boy. But lacking milk to breastfeed him, she consulted with a doctor who prescribed a drug for her. She took it faithfully, but there was a negative reaction to the drug resulting in an open wound on her breast. The wound would not heal even after several years. Eventually pus began oozing out from the wound. Rinkey also developed problems in her ear and her eyesight as well. As a result, for ten years she had to wear special eyeglasses in order to read, write, and to drive.

Last month one of our believers ministered to Rinkey in the wondrous name of our Messiah Jesus. Her wound dried up and was healed. She attended one of our Elijah Challenge house churches where we ministered to her. The Lord miraculously healed her from the problems in her ear and with her eyesight—issues which she had endured for ten years. She no longer needed to wear the special eyeglasses.

Then a relative asked Rinkey how she had gotten well, and so she shared about our Messiah Jesus. Upon hearing this, her older sister over in Brundaban called to rebuke and reprimand her. She told her not to believe in Jesus Christ, and to have nothing to do with us. She reminded Rinkey that the family members are devout Hindus as well as their ancestors.

But thank God that Rinkey is now strong in her faith. She is preparing to take water baptism along with her husband.”

Well over 1,000 reports of the miraculous from our nameless workers

.
.

The Elijah Challenge equips nameless harvest workers to reach resistant people groups fruitfully by training them to heal the sick miraculously and consistently as Jesus did and as he promised that believers would do (John 14:11-12)—as irrefutable evidence that Jesus is the Messiah and the only way to the One True God who created the heavens and the earth. In the green link above there are posted approximately 1,000 reports of the miraculous similar to those at the top of this page. These thousand reports (out of thousands of reports) were received from our workers during approximately the past four to five years.

Since 2018 our trained workers in and around Odisha have planted 1,205 new house churches with over 48,000 new believers through May 2022, reaching 38 previously unreached people groups, including high caste Hindu groups which are among the most resistant and difficult to reach. This is in the region of Orissa (Odisha) State alone, considered the poorest state in India where Fundamentalist Hinduism reigns. Water baptism is illegal. Up in North India our trained harvest workers are seeing similar harvests among the Hindus and Sikhs.

Mission Leaders, if we are available we are able to train your Third World harvest workers with The Elijah Challenge—at our own expense. We can do so using the zoom app.
