A young woman named Bimalini was possessed by demon spirits. It was said that enemies of her family had done this with the help of a sorcerer. They are from a high caste unreached Hindu people group.

Her parents had taken Bimalini to several places to consult with various sorcerers at considerable expense. After a few days of behaving normally she would again be possessed. Then her parents took her to the mental hospital in the state of Bihar where she underwent treatment for three months. After that they took Bimalini home.
After a few months, the problem recurred. Again they consulted with sorcerers, and for a few months her behavior was back to normal. Satisfied that she was now well, her parents arranged for Bimalini to be married. But just seven days after her wedding last year, she was once again possessed by demons. Her in-laws returned Bimalini to her parents, and her husband left her.
Again her parents consulted with sorcerers, and this time along with some pastors. Last December (2020) I happened to be in their village. But her parents did not want to meet with me at that time since one of the sorcerers was looking after her. But when Bimalini’s condition didn’t improve under his care, her parents brought her to us. When I saw her, she was completely out of her mind, shouting, screaming, and, among other things, reciting Hindu mantras.
When we ministered to her (below), rebuking the demons and commanding them to leave her in Jesus’ name, Bimalini was completely set free and restored to her right mind.

After having suffered through this trial for months and months, her family was very excited and grateful. When her husband’s family heard the news, they wanted Bimalini back. But her parents told them that they had accepted Jesus Christ and refused to return their daughter to them. If they wanted her back, they would have to believe in Jesus—as He is the only Savior of the world. We were astonished to hear this from Bimalini’s own brother.
Praise the Lord for how strong Bimalini’s family is now in the faith. The whole family (below) wants to receive water baptism next month in April 2021.

Rahash (below) works in the government sector, and for 11 months vomited blood. This went on month after month resulting in Rahash becoming very weak. He went to see a doctor, but the results of the test were negative. Nevertheless the doctor prescribed some medicine for him. But when the vomiting did not stop, Rahash looked for a sorcerer. He did what the sorcerer told him to do, but the vomiting continued.
Gradually Rahash become very weak, and he stopped eating and drinking. Somehow he heard about our Elijah Challenge ministry and with his entire family came to us in a Mahindra Bolero. As soon as we ministered to him in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, he experienced the power of the One True God touching him. The vomiting stopped.
Once a week now Rahash and his wife attend our service, sometimes by Bolero, sometimes by auto-ricksaw…they travel 50 kilometers to get to our meeting. Yesterday, Sunday, March 14, we were surprised to see Rahash and his wife arrive by motorcycle (below). Both have accepted Jesus Christ.
Thank God for Rahash’s wondrous healing by our gracious God.
