“Since childhood, Mukeswari (above & below) had been under attack by demons. Her desperate parents had taken her to various places to every sorcerer they could find, but to absolutely no avail. As she grew older the attacks became more frequent. For hours on end she would lie unconscious. The attacks continued even after she was married. Her husband and her parents kept spending money on sorcerers to deliver her, but in vain.
After her marriage Mukeswari suffered through miscarriages, leading her several times to attempt suicide—when she was conscious. Somehow they came to know about the ministry of The Elijah Challenge, and brought Mukeswari to our trained workers for ministry. They rebuked the demons with supernatural authority in the name of our Messiah Jesus, commanding them to leave her and not to return. The demons obeyed and left. After that Mukeswari accepted Jesus Christ. At first her husband was unwilling to follow Jesus. But after she prayed for him, her husband also accepted Jesus as his only Lord and Savior. Praise God!”

“A woman named Haripriya (below) suffered from a mental illness for six months. She would go outside and dance in front of her house. From time to time, she would hit people for no reason at all. The villagers were frightened of her. Several times her family had her chained up at home, but she would break free. The family sought help from doctors as well as sorcerers, but nothing could help her. Then they heard about our Elijah Challenge workers. They brought Haripriya, hands and feet bound, to our workers. After they ministered to her in the wondrous name of our Messiah Jesus, she was completely delivered and her mind restored. Her entire family then accepted Jesus Christ as their only Lord and Savior.”

“A toddler named Ashok (below with his mother) was badly injured while falling on the floor at home. The doctor advised his parents that an operation would be necessary if he was ever to walk normally again. Ashok’s parents were distraught and shared their fears with a neighbor—who told them about our Elijah Challenge workers. His parents then contacted them. They came and ministered to Ashok with great authority and power in the name of the Messiah Jesus. The boy was then miraculously healed. His parents took him to see their doctor who advised them that surgery was no longer necessary.”

“For three years Sumant (below) had to endure bad arthritis with severe pain over all over his body. He had difficulty walking and taking care of himself. Then he came to one of our house churches where our Elijah Challenge workers ministered to him in the wondrous name of Jesus. Sumant was miraculously healed from the arthritis and accompanying pain. He then put his faith in Jesus and accepted Him as his Lord and Savior.”

“Mohan (below) had been addicted to alcohol for a long time. He wife told him to stop drinking, but he would not accept her advice. Finally Mohan fell ill, suffering from a fever and a cough. For two months he suffered despite taking the medication prescribed by his doctor for a long time. Then our Elijah Challenge workers came and with authority and power ministered to Mohan in the marvelous name of our Messiah Jesus. He was then miraculously healed. After that Mohan believed and accepted Jesus Christ.”

The Elijah Challenge equips nameless harvest workers to reach resistant people groups fruitfully by training them to heal the sick miraculously and consistently as Jesus did and as he promised that believers would do (John 14:11-12)—as irrefutable evidence that Jesus is the Messiah and the only way to the One True God who created the heavens and the earth. These thousand reports (out of thousands of reports) were received from our workers during approximately the past four to five years.
Since 2018 our trained workers in and around Odisha have planted 1,205 new house churches with over 48,000 new believers through May 2022, reaching 38 previously unreached people groups, including high caste Hindu groups which are among the most resistant and difficult to reach. This is in the region of Orissa (Odisha) State alone, considered the poorest state in India where Fundamentalist Hinduism reigns. Water baptism is illegal. Up in North India our trained harvest workers are seeing similar harvests among the Hindus and Sikhs.
