“The son of a young woman named Gurubari (above & below) had fallen into water. When the little boy was retrieved from the water, he was no longer conscious. Since there was no transportation in their village, Gurubari and her husband could not take the boy to the hospital. So they ran to our Elijah Challenge workers who lived nearby and asked them for help. Our workers immediately dropped what they were doing and rushed over to minister to the boy with the supernatural authority and power of the name of our Messiah Jesus. Instantly the boy became conscious again. His parents were astonished at the very quick miracle. They believed and accepted Jesus as their only Lord and Savior.”

“Rahul Oram (with his mother below), a twenty-day old baby, had difficulty breathing. His parents had taken him to see a doctor, but the medicine prescribed by the doctor for him did not help. His very anxious parents took him back to the doctor who advised them to take Rahul to the better-equipped hospital in the state capital for more advanced treatment. But they would not be able to afford the expense of such treatment. In the meantime, our Elijah Challenge workers came and ministered to the infant in the marvelous name of the Messiah Jesus. Wonderfully, he was then able to breathe normally. His very grateful parents then believed in Jesus and accepted Him as their only Lord and Savior.”

“For the past few months, a young woman named Sanju (below) could not sleep at night even for an hour. A demon would torment her in her room. She was reluctant to share what she was going through with anyone. But finally she told her parents what was happening to her every night. They brought in a sorcerer who came and spoke mantras over her room, but the sleepless nights continued. Sanju would feel someone or something coming over to her and pushing her. Then our Elijah Challenge workers came to pray and minister to her in the wondrous name of the Lord Jesus. After they rebuked the demon in Jesus’ name, Sanju was able to enjoy a good night’s sleep from that day on. She then believed in Jesus Christ.”

“A young man named Muna Khora (below) suffered from painful hemorrhoids for one very difficult year. His doctor had prescribed medicine for him, but it brought no relief for Muna. After that he tried ayurvedic medicine as well, but to no avail. Then our Elijah Challenge workers came and ministered to him in the name of our Messiah Jesus. Muna was miraculously healed from the hemorrhoids. He then put his faith in the Messiah Jesus.”

“For the past year Lilima suffered from painful arthritis. Due to the severe pain she was unable to walk normally. Prescription medicine from a doctor did nothing to help. Then our Elijah Challenge workers came and ministered to Lilima in Jesus’ wonderful name. She was then miraculously set free from the arthritic pain. After that she believed in Jesus as her only Lord and personal Savior.”

The Elijah Challenge equips nameless harvest workers to reach resistant people groups fruitfully by training them to heal the sick miraculously and consistently as Jesus did and as he promised that believers would do (John 14:11-12)—as irrefutable evidence that Jesus is the Messiah and the only way to the One True God who created the heavens and the earth. These thousand reports (out of thousands of reports) were received from our workers during approximately the past four to five years.
Since 2018 our trained workers in and around Odisha have planted 1,205 new house churches with over 48,000 new believers through May 2022, reaching 38 previously unreached people groups, including high caste Hindu groups which are among the most resistant and difficult to reach. This is in the region of Orissa (Odisha) State alone, considered the poorest state in India where Fundamentalist Hinduism reigns. Water baptism is illegal. Up in North India our trained harvest workers are seeing similar harvests among the Hindus and Sikhs.
