“A woman named Ranjita (above & below) suffered from severe swelling on the right side of her face. When people looked at her face, they would be appalled. Ranjita was naturally distraught. The swelling had moreover severely obstructed her vision from her right eye. Her doctor informed her that it was caused by an infection for which he prescribed medicine for her. But the swelling would not subside. The doctor then advised Ranjita to seek more advanced treatment at a hospital in the city, but she would not be able to afford it. Somehow her family heard about our Elijah Challenge workers, and contacted them. Our workers came and ministered to Ranjita in the wondrous name of our Messiah Jesus. Within two days there was a drastic change in her appearance. Both Ranjita and her husband then believed and accepted Jesus as their only Lord and Savior.”

“For three long months a boy named Susant (below) had typhoid fever. He was taken to be treated by two doctors in succession, but the medication prescribed by neither could help him. His condition deteriorated as he became very weak and stopped eating for days. His parents were of course distraught at what had happened to their son. Then our Elijah Challenge workers came to their home and ministered to the boy in Jesus’ marvelous name. The fever left and Susant was miraculously healed. His grateful and relieved parents then believed and accepted Jesus Christ.”

“Kusum (below) had arthritis causing much pain in both of her legs such that she could not even do daily chores. She had taken medicine from her village doctor, but the pain remained. So she went to the more advanced hospital in the city where she was prescribed a more powerful drug. But the arthritic pain was unrelenting. Then our Elijah Challenge workers ministered to Kusum in Jesus’ name, and the arthritis and accompanying pain miraculously vanished. She then believed and accepted Jesus as her only Lord and Savior.”

“For weeks a toddler named Reena (below with her mother) had swelling in her stomach. Despite taking the medicine prescribed for Reena by the doctor her mother consulted, the swelling in Reena’s stomach would not subside after a week. Little Reena could no longer drink milk and in her misery she would cry a lot. Finally our Elijah Challenge workers ministered to her in the precious name of the Messiah Jesus, and Reena was miraculously healed with the swelling disappearing. After that both her father and mother accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.”

“For two months a man named Kunmun (below) had both chest pain and a stomach infection. He found it difficult to eat and even to breathe. The medicine prescribed for him by his doctor did not help. Then our Elijah Challenge workers ministered to him in Jesus’ wondrous name, and Kunmun was miraculously healed. Both of his grateful parents then accepted Jesus Christ.”

The Elijah Challenge equips nameless harvest workers to reach resistant people groups fruitfully by training them to heal the sick miraculously and consistently as Jesus did and as he promised that believers would do (John 14:11-12)—as irrefutable evidence that Jesus is the Messiah and the only way to the One True God who created the heavens and the earth. These thousand reports (out of thousands of reports) were received from our workers during approximately the past four to five years.
Since 2018 our trained workers in and around Odisha have planted 1,205 new house churches with over 48,000 new believers through May 2022, reaching 38 previously unreached people groups, including high caste Hindu groups which are among the most resistant and difficult to reach. This is in the region of Orissa (Odisha) State alone, considered the poorest state in India where Fundamentalist Hinduism reigns. Water baptism is illegal. Up in North India our trained harvest workers are seeing similar harvests among the Hindus and Sikhs.
