“In the middle of the night while asleep Basanti (above & below) was bitten by a poisonous snake. The terrifying attack scared her husband out of his wits. But since our Elijah Challenge workers happened to live near their village, he beseeched them for their help. They came and ministered to Basanti with supernatural authority and power in the magnificent name of our Messiah Jesus. She was miraculously healed and recovered. After that both Basanti and her husband accepted Jesus Christ.”

“For the past three years Rajesh (below) suffered from a heart condition. Despite taking regular medication, he was not well. Poor Rajesh fell into depression. Then he came to know about our Elijah Challenge workers, and approached them asking for their help. Our workers then ministered to him in the wondrous name of our Messiah Jesus, and Rajesh’s heart began functioning normally again, miraculously healed. Then after our workers shared the gospel with him he accepted Jesus as his only Lord and Savior.”

“The body of a young boy named Bhupen (below with his mom) swelled up mysteriously for some unknown reason. His parents took him to a hospital, but the treatment he received there did not help. Then took Bhupen for treatment at another hospital, but the treatment there also proved ineffective. Then our Elijah Challenge workers were given the opportunity to minister to him in Jesus’ name, and the little boy was gloriously healed. After that both of his grateful parents accepted Jesus Christ.”

“Jayanti Munda (below) experienced such terrible stomach pain that she could barely walk or even sit. She was brought to the home of one of our Elijah Challenge workers where she received ministry in Jesus’ name. Wonderfully, Jayanti was touched by the Lord and the pain left. After this both she and her husband accepted Jesus Christ.”

“For a long time Khata (below) suffered from both arthritis and typhoid fever, and had become extremely weak. Despite the medication she had taken for both problems, her condition deteriorated and became serious. Our Elijah Challenge workers then came and ministered to her in the name of the Messiah Jesus. Khata was then marvelously healed from both the arthritis and the typhoid. She and her family then accepted Jesus Christ as their only Lord and Savior.”

The Elijah Challenge equips nameless harvest workers to reach resistant people groups fruitfully by training them to heal the sick miraculously and consistently as Jesus did and as he promised that believers would do (John 14:11-12)—as irrefutable evidence that Jesus is the Messiah and the only way to the One True God who created the heavens and the earth. These thousand reports (out of thousands of reports) were received from our workers during approximately the past four to five years.
Since 2018 our trained workers in and around Odisha have planted 1,205 new house churches with over 48,000 new believers through May 2022, reaching 38 previously unreached people groups, including high caste Hindu groups which are among the most resistant and difficult to reach. This is in the region of Orissa (Odisha) State alone, considered the poorest state in India where Fundamentalist Hinduism reigns. Water baptism is illegal. Up in North India our trained harvest workers are seeing similar harvests among the Hindus and Sikhs.
