A woman named Bhagabati (above & below) had been severely injured in an accident. For a long time she lay comatose in the hospital. The doctors there did their best for her, but could not help her. Finally they gave up and told the family to take her home. There at home she was unable to talk or eat by herself. Her family then heard about our Elijah Challenge workers, and asked them to come and pray over Bhagabati. Over a period of weeks they came and ministered to her with power and authority in the wondrous name of the Messiah Jesus. Every day her condition improved visibly, and finally Bhagabati was totally and wonderfully healed by our Lord. The grateful family then made the decision to believe and received Jesus as their only Lord and Savior.”

“For three months Jiten Majhi (below) was under demonic attack. For three to four days each week he would be possessed. In the beginning his father consulted with a doctor who prescribed medication for Jiten, but there was no change. Then his father brought in a sorcerer who gave him medicine and uttered mantras over him. But still Jiten was not delivered. Then our Elijah Challenge workers came and commanded the demon to leave Jiten in the POWERFUL name of the Messiah Jesus. Amazingly, the demon left and Jiten was set free. Along with his relieved family Jiten believed and accepted Jesus Christ.”

“Gourang (below) suffered from severe diabetes. His blood sugar was uncontrollable. His vision was affected and severe pain had developed in his leg. Finally, he became extremely weak. All this took place despite the insulin Gourang was taking. Then our Elijah Challenge workers came and ministered to him with supernatural authority and power in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Gourang was then wondrously healed from diabetes. After that he believed and accepted Jesus Christ.”

“A boy named Megha (below) had been bitten by a poisonous snake; his condition was not good. Since his family lacked transportation to take him to the hospital they were desperate for other means. They heard about our Elijah Challenge workers and summoned them. After they came and ministered to Megha in the name of our Messiah Jesus, a miracle took place. The boy was miraculously healed from the poisonous bite. Both Megha and his family then accepted Jesus Christ.”

The Elijah Challenge equips nameless harvest workers to reach resistant people groups fruitfully by training them to heal the sick miraculously and consistently as Jesus did and as he promised that believers would do (John 14:11-12)—as irrefutable evidence that Jesus is the Messiah and the only way to the One True God who created the heavens and the earth. These thousand reports (out of thousands of reports) were received from our workers during approximately the past four to five years.
Since 2018 our trained workers in and around Odisha have planted 1,755 new house churches with 65,730 new believers as of December 9, 2023, reaching 42 previously unreached people groups, including high caste Hindu groups which are among the most resistant and difficult to reach. This is in the region of Orissa (Odisha) State alone, considered the poorest state in India where Fundamentalist Hinduism reigns. Water baptism is illegal. Up in North India our trained harvest workers are seeing similar harvests among the Hindus and Sikhs.
