On a Saturday evening in July 2017 in Penang, Malaysia, we had an evangelistic service where I preached the gospel of Jesus Christ. Afterwards the disciples whom I had trained with The Elijah Challenge earlier in the week ministered healing to the sick as evidence of the truth of the gospel. A man named Tan Ah Yam had come to the meeting on a wheelchair. Mr. Tan was about sixty years old, and had not walked in 7 or 8 years. According to a medical doctor present at the meeting, his legs during that time had atrophied and were little more than skin over bones.
Following the preaching Mr. Tan was wheeled to the front along with others who wanted to be healed by the Lord. The disciples laid hands on him and commanded him to get up in Jesus’ name. As they helped him to get up, the Lord strengthened his legs and with assistance he began to walk. By the end of the service he was able to walk out of the church by himself unassisted.
Mr. Tan accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.
Others who had come to be healed were also touched by the Lord and testified afterwards.”
