“Greetings to you in Jesus’ precious name. Thank you so much for your intercessory and financial support. All over the state of Orissa, Christian associations are staying very quiet in order not to be exposed during this very troubling time for the Church here.

INDIA: Christian women tied to pole by Fundamentalist Hindus in Orissa
.
But by God’s wonderful grace, however, our ministry continues. I believe we will continue to harvest more and more souls for the Kingdom of God here. And so we are very glad to be able to send you the below report at such a time as this in India.
Please continue to uphold us in your prayers.”

Hindu man was severely addicted to both hard liquor and smoking
His name is Samburi (above & below), and his circle of friends consisted of young drunkards like himself. Then he heard about the miraculous healings taking place through our ministry, and so attended one of our house churches. There Samburi was astounded to witness the miracles done in Jesus’ wondrous name. Wanting to be set free from his addictions to drinking and smoking, he asked our workers to minister to him. After our workers ministered to him with supernatural authority and power in Jesus’ name, Samburi repented from his sins. After that he stopped drinking and smoking. He has not touched a drop of liquor or smoked a cigarette for three months.

For a long time a Hindu man suffered from convulsions which defied medical treatment
Jagat Jani (below) had been under treatment by a doctor, but the seizures would not cease. His background was traditional Hindu, and he was very distraught. Then our Elijah Challenge workers came and ministered to Jagat with supernatural power and authority in the name of Jesus. The convulsions then miraculously ceased. After that Jagat made the decision to accept Jesus Christ.

Elderly Hindu woman had severe chest infection and unable to eat
For the past four months Sulochana Mali (below) suffered from the infection. Our Elijah Challenge workers reached her at her home and over a period of two days ministered to her in the name of Jesus. Sulochana was wonderfully healed from the infection, and then accepted Jesus as her personal Savior.
Little boy badly injured falling from father’s motorcycle
Little Aksis Suna (below) suffered internal injuries in the fall. He was admitted to the hospital where he received primary treatment. Aksis however did not recover. He could not eat properly. His speech was not clear. Then our Elijah Challenge workers came and ministered to the boy in the name of the Messiah Jesus. Aksis was then miraculously healed from his injuries. His grateful parents decided to believe and accepted Jesus Christ.

2,800 reports of the miraculous from our nameless workers

The Elijah Challenge equips nameless harvest workers to reach resistant people groups fruitfully by training them to heal the sick miraculously and consistently as Jesus did and as he promised that believers would do (John 14:11-12)—as irrefutable evidence that Jesus is the Messiah and the only way to the One True God who created the heavens and the earth. In the green link above there are posted approximately 2,700 reports of the miraculous similar to those at the top of this page. These thousand reports (out of thousands of reports) were received from our workers during approximately the past four to five years.
Since 2018 our trained workers in and around Odisha have planted 1,988 new house churches with 70,110 new believers as of the end of October 2024, reaching 50 previously unreached people groups, including high caste Hindu groups which are among the most resistant and difficult to reach. This is in the region of Orissa (Odisha) State alone, considered the poorest state in India where Fundamentalist Hinduism reigns. Water baptism is illegal. Up in North India our trained harvest workers are seeing similar harvests among the Hindus and Sikhs.
Mission Leaders, if we are available we are able to train your Third World harvest workers with The Elijah Challenge—at our own expense. We can do so using the zoom app.
