Katrina, a believer originally from China, lived with her first husband and their son in the Houston area. But they had a problem in their marriage, and before their divorce her husband put a powerful curse on her. Katrina then remarried and had another son with her second husband. But due to the curse from her ex-husband she began to endure a nightmare which lasted for ten years. Something extremely strange developed in her abdomen, the excruciating sensation of “a monster with sharp teeth” gnawing away at her insides every night. Her doctor’s examination revealed nothing abnormal. But in her agony Katrina insisted that her doctor remove her womb surgically. But even after the operation to remove her womb, nothing changed. The nightly torment continued on endlessly. Whenever she lied down to sleep, the indescribable pain hit her. So Katrina was forced to sit up through very long nights over ten years.
Not only that, her sons could actually see and hear demonic manifestations around the two homes where they had lived. From time to time her younger son could see a demonic figure walking around outside their second home.
Then several years ago Katrina came to The Elijah Challenge Training where she learned about the supernatural power and authority Jesus gave to His disciples.
Luke 9:1 When Jesus had called the Twelve together, he gave them power and authority to drive out all demons and to cure diseases, 2 and he sent them out to proclaim the kingdom of God and to heal the sick.
After that Katrina and her husband and their two sons began to use the authority of the name of Jesus to rebuke the demon directly, commanding it to leave. At that time her husband did not yet believe in Jesus. But he said that if she was set free from her torment, he would accept Jesus as Lord and Savior.
Every evening for three months Katrina and her family would come together and, after prayer, would speak directly to the demon in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, ordering it to leave. Katrina’s nightly torment then ceased. She is now sleeping normally every night, and works at Sam’s Club to help support her family. The Lord now often answers her prayers miraculously.
And her husband, as he said he would if Katrina is healed, has put his faith in Jesus Christ and has been baptized.

”A Hindu woman named Bobita (below) had a diseased uterus causing severe pain. The medicine prescribed by her doctor did not help. He then advised Bobita to seek more advanced treatment from the district hospital. But then our Elijah Challenge workers ministered to her in the wondrous name of our Messiah Jesus, and she was miraculously healed. After that Bobita and her family accepted Jesus as their only Lord and Savior.”

“Kullu (below) suffered from a skin disease which was resistant to the medication prescribed by his doctor. But when our Elijah Challenge workers came and ministered to him in the name of our Messiah Jesus, his skin condition cleared up miraculously. Kullu then believed in Jesus as his Lord and Savior.”

“Mamita, a young Hindu woman (below), had been tormented by a demon which possessed her. It made her want to run away, and eventually her family gave up trying to keep her at home. Her father brought in a sorcerer who tried to use witchcraft to help her, but he failed. Then our Elijah Challenge workers came and ministered to her by commanding the demon to leave in the name of the Messiah Jesus. The demon left and Mamita was wonderfully delivered. The family then accepted Jesus Christ.”

“For nearly three weeks two little sisters named Renuka and Prathima (below) had both been sick suffering from fever and coughing. Their father took them to see a doctor who prescribed medicine for them, but they did not recover. Then our Elijah Challenge workers ministered to them with supernatural authority and power in the name of Jesus Christ, and both Renuka and Prathima were miraculously healed. Their mother and father then believed and accepted Jesus Christ.”

“For a year a young woman named Bindu (below) suffered from a migraine headache. She had been treated with medicine by her doctor, but the migraine remained. She consulted a second doctor, but his treatment was ineffective as well. Then our Elijah Challenge workers came and ministered to her in Jesus’ wondrous name, and the migraine vanished. She then accepted Jesus Christ.”

The Elijah Challenge equips nameless harvest workers to reach resistant people groups fruitfully by training them to heal the sick miraculously and consistently as Jesus did and as he promised that believers would do (John 14:11-12)—as irrefutable evidence that Jesus is the Messiah and the only way to the One True God who created the heavens and the earth. Since 2018 our trained workers in and around Odisha have planted 1,755 new house churches with 65,730 new believers as of December 9, 2023, reaching 42 previously unreached people groups, including high caste Hindu groups which are among the most resistant and difficult to reach. This is in the region of Orissa (Odisha) State alone, considered the poorest state in India where Fundamentalist Hinduism reigns. Water baptism is illegal. Up in North India our trained harvest workers are seeing similar harvests among the Hindus and Sikhs.
