We had a very good time with the very orthodox Church of North India (CNI) at Komna in Khariar with The Elijah Challenge. Let me give you a brief history of the church. Some hundred years back German missionaries came to that area and planted the church. It was running smoothly. After they left India an Oriya pastor took over the leadership. But slowly the believers went astray, and suddenly the pastor passed away. Then the church finally collapsed.
It was sad to see such a situation in a Church which had been planted so many years ago. Now there are 25 to 30 believers. They do not believe in miraculous healing. Especially the elders do not have such faith.
But praise the Lord there were some instant miraculous healings among the believers. The Lord was gracious to heal the people. A sister had severe chest pain as well as backbone pain, and she was healed. Another sister would perspire constantly, and suddenly she stopped perspiring. A brother had arthritis, and he was not able to seat or stand for long time. He was healed. The Lord also helped me to teach The Elijah Challenge. Many believers understood the need of making disciples and make a firm decision to reach out with the power and authority given to them by the Lord.

There are hundreds of churches in this condition. Please pray that the Lord give us the opportunity to teach and equip them. I fully believe we will have good results in the days ahead.
