“A Hindu woman named Minati (above & below) suffered from a problem with her uterus. She had consulted with our Elijah Challenge workers and attended one of our house churches. When they ministered to her with supernatural authority and power in the name of the Messiah Jesus, she was miraculously healed. After her husband came to know about it he forbade her from attending any more prayer meetings. He told her that it was OK for her to be healed, but he would not allow her to continue attending the house church meetings. So Minati came to the meetings secretly. But when her husband found out, he beat her up severely. After that Minati moved in with her mother and sought the Lord for her husband regularly. She was determined and had made up her mind that whatever might happen, she would not leave the Lord.
Five months later her husband realized what he had done and told Minati that he was accepting Jesus as his Lord and Savior along with her.

‘For two months Anita (below) was attacked and possessed by three demons. They would torture her. Her parents took her to a sorcerer who performed mantras and sacrifices for her. But despite all his efforts Anita couldn’t be set free. If one demon left her, another would appear to continue tormenting her. Then the family heard about our Elijah Challenge workers and brought Anita to the home of one of them. After our workers rebuked the demons, commanding them to leave Anita with supernatural authority in the name of the Messiah Jesus, the demons all left her. After that Anita put her faith in Jesus Christ and along with her husband accepted Him as her only Lord and Savior.”

“Basanti Bhengra (below) had a serious case of tuberculosis. Her parents and the people in her village thought that she would not survive. The medications prescribed by doctors had been helpless to held her. Basanti herself had given up all hope of surviving. But our Elijah Challenge workers came and ministered to her in Jesus’ name on a couple of occasions. Basanti’s condition began to improve rapidly. Her parents came to believe that the Lord would heal her completely. And sure enough, by God’s wondrous grace, Basanti was healed from the tuberculosis. The entire family then accepted Jesus Christ.”

“A woman named Shama (below) had an open sore in her cheek which eventually became serious, making it difficult for her to eat and drink—even to talk. She had consulted with a doctor who gave her prescription medication, but her condition was unchanged. Then our Elijah Challenge workers came and ministered to her with power and authority in the name of Jesus. The sore then healed miraculously. Shama then believed and accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and personal Savior.”

“A fever would develop in Mini Sahu (below) on a regular basis despite taking medicine. Last month her condition became serious with severe weakness setting in to her body. Our Elijah Challenge workers came to minister to her in Jesus’ name, and Mini was totally healed from the fever and accompanying weakness in her body. She then believed and accepted Jesus Christ.”

The Elijah Challenge equips nameless harvest workers to reach resistant people groups fruitfully by training them to heal the sick miraculously and consistently as Jesus did and as he promised that believers would do (John 14:11-12)—as irrefutable evidence that Jesus is the Messiah and the only way to the One True God who created the heavens and the earth. These thousand reports (out of thousands of reports) were received from our workers during approximately the past four to five years.
Since 2018 our trained workers in and around Odisha have planted 1,205 new house churches with over 48,000 new believers through May 2022, reaching 38 previously unreached people groups, including high caste Hindu groups which are among the most resistant and difficult to reach. This is in the region of Orissa (Odisha) State alone, considered the poorest state in India where Fundamentalist Hinduism reigns. Water baptism is illegal. Up in North India our trained harvest workers are seeing similar harvests among the Hindus and Sikhs.
