“For two years Rasmita (above & below) was stricken with symptoms of severe dementia. She had lost her memory. Her speech was slurred and people could not understand her. Without telling her husband and children, she would run off and disappear. Her husband had taken her to both the village doctor as well as to hospitals where Rasmita was treated. But the dementia remained. Then our Elijah Challenge workers came and ministered to her with the supernatural authority and power which is in the wondrous name of our Messiah Jesus. Rasmita’s mind was then miraculously restored. She and her family then accepted Jesus as their only Lord and Savior.”

“A young girl named Dibya (below) had been staying in a hostel for schoolgirls. But every night she would be attacked and tormented by demons. After a few days she refused to stay in the hostel. She shared about the attacks with the superintendent of the hostel, who delegated responsibility for the situation to an underling. A temple priest was then summoned to speak mantras over her room, but the demons kept up the attacks. Finally Dibya was returned home, and refused to go back to school. Then her father came to know about our Elijah Challenge workers. He requested them to come pray for Dibya. Our workers came and rebuked the demons, commanding them to leave Dibya in the name above all names, the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Dibya was then completely delivered from the demons. Her family put their faith in Jesus and accepted Him as their personal Savior.”

“Parbati Tirkey (below), a middle-aged woman, had sickle cell anemia. Nearly every month she would be stricken. She had already spent a lot of money for medication, but she was not well. Then our Elijah Challenge workers ministered to her in the marvelous name of our Messiah Jesus, and Parbati was miraculously healed from the sickle cell. She then accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior.”

“For a long time, Kamala Kisan (below) suffered from sugar diabetes. Even after taking the medication prescribed by her doctor, her blood sugar could not be controlled. Then our Elijah Challenge workers came and ministered to her in Jesus’ wondrous name. Her blood sugar went down miraculously and she was healed. Kamala then believed and accepted Jesus Christ.”

The Elijah Challenge equips nameless harvest workers to reach resistant people groups fruitfully by training them to heal the sick miraculously and consistently as Jesus did and as he promised that believers would do (John 14:11-12)—as irrefutable evidence that Jesus is the Messiah and the only way to the One True God who created the heavens and the earth. These thousand reports (out of thousands of reports) were received from our workers during approximately the past four to five years.
Since 2018 our trained workers in and around Odisha have planted 1,205 new house churches with over 48,000 new believers through May 2022, reaching 38 previously unreached people groups, including high caste Hindu groups which are among the most resistant and difficult to reach. This is in the region of Orissa (Odisha) State alone, considered the poorest state in India where Fundamentalist Hinduism reigns. Water baptism is illegal. Up in North India our trained harvest workers are seeing similar harvests among the Hindus and Sikhs.
