“A Hindu woman named Puspa Dei (above and below) suffered from paralysis in her right arm. She was unable to raise her arm and use it to do anything. It became a useless appendage hanging at her side. She had already traveled and consulted with the doctors at the renowned hospitals in the capital of Bhubaneswar and in the city of Cuttack where she had been prescribed medicine. After months of taking the medication, however, her arm remained paralyzed. Then suspecting that it could be the work of black magic, she went to see a sorcerer and received treatment from him. But medicine he gave her was futile. Then her husband heard about our Elijah Challenge workers and summoned them for prayer. They came and ministered to Puspa with supernatural authority and power in the name of our wondrous Messiah Jesus. A miracle took place, and her arm was miraculously healed with movement totally restored. (See the video below.) After that both Puspa and her husband gladly accepted Jesus Christ as their only Lord and Savior.”

“A young Hindu man named Bhawani (below) had sickle cell anemia causing severe pain in his joints. From time to time he would consult with a doctor for his condition. But the medicine prescribed by the doctor was ineffective. Then our Elijah Challenge workers were given the opportunity to pray and minister to him in the magnificent name of the Messiah Jesus. Bhawani was then miraculously healed from the sickle cell anemia and accompanying joint pain. He then accepted Jesus Christ.”

“A middle-aged man named Srikar (below) had arthritis causing pain all over his body. For two years the arthritis had made it difficult for him to work. At times even walking became arduous for him. Srikar had already been treated by a doctor at a local hospital, but the arthritis would not relent. Then our Elijah Challenge workers came and ministered to Srikar in the name of the Messiah Jesus. The arthritic pain all but disappeared. Srikar then believed and accepted Jesus Christ.”

“Susant Samal (below) had a stomach infection which caused severe pain and dire difficulty in eating. For a few months he had taken the medicine prescribed for him by his doctor, but the infection persisted. Then our Elijah Challenge workers entered his village with the gospel of Jesus Christ. With supernatural authority and power in the name of the Messiah Jesus they ministered to Susant. He was then wondrously healed from the stomach infection. After that Susant made the decision to accept Jesus Christ.”

The Elijah Challenge equips nameless harvest workers to reach resistant people groups fruitfully by training them to heal the sick miraculously and consistently as Jesus did and as he promised that believers would do (John 14:11-12)—as irrefutable evidence that Jesus is the Messiah and the only way to the One True God who created the heavens and the earth. These thousand reports (out of thousands of reports) were received from our workers during approximately the past four to five years.
Since 2018 our trained workers in and around Odisha have planted 1,755 new house churches with 65,730 new believers as of December 9, 2023, reaching 42 previously unreached people groups, including high caste Hindu groups which are among the most resistant and difficult to reach. This is in the region of Orissa (Odisha) State alone, considered the poorest state in India where Fundamentalist Hinduism reigns. Water baptism is illegal. Up in North India our trained harvest workers are seeing similar harvests among the Hindus and Sikhs.
