“For six months Bibiani Kerketta (above & below) suffered from a heart condition which put her in constant fear for her life. For a long time she had taken the medicine prescribed for her by her doctor, but her heart condition remained. She also tried local medicine, but to no avail. Her doctor advised her to seek more advanced treatment at the hospital in the city, but she would not be able to afford such treatment. Then Bibiani attended one of our house churches where our Elijah Challenge workers ministered to her with supernatural authority and power in the wondrous name of our Messiah Jesus. Her heart was miraculously healed and restored. After that the gospel was shared with her and her family, and Bibiani gratefully accepted Jesus as her only Lord and Savior.”

“Asrita’s (below) back and knee were badly injured in a fall from her bicycle. She sought treatment at a hospital, but there was no relief from the back pain. “A woman named Gurubari Sunani (below) was terribly demonized, living in torment. Most of the time she would just lie in bed and refuse to talk to people. Then our Elijah Challenge workers came to drive the demon out of her. She shouted and screamed at them at the top of her lungs. With authority our workers rebuked and commanded the demon to leave her in the powerful name of Jesus Christ. Gurubari fell on the ground and the demon left her. Her family then believed and put their faith in Jesus Christ.”

Then she came and attended one of our house churches where our Elijah Challenge workers ministered to her in Jesus’ name. The Lord healed her, and her stomach was miraculously restored. Kumari then accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior. The Elijah Challenge equips nameless harvest workers to reach resistant people groups fruitfully by training them to heal the sick miraculously and consistently as Jesus did and as he promised that believers would do (John 14:11-12)—as irrefutable evidence that Jesus is the Messiah and the only way to the One True God who created the heavens and the earth. These thousand reports (out of thousands of reports) were received from our workers during approximately the past four to five years.
Since 2018 our trained workers in and around Odisha have planted 1,205 new house churches with over 48,000 new believers through May 2022, reaching 38 previously unreached people groups, including high caste Hindu groups which are among the most resistant and difficult to reach. This is in the region of Orissa (Odisha) State alone, considered the poorest state in India where Fundamentalist Hinduism reigns. Water baptism is illegal. Up in North India our trained harvest workers are seeing similar harvests among the Hindus and Sikhs.
