I have only recently stumbled on The Elijah Challenge and am fascinated, to put it mildly. A lot of believers I know have not heard of this teaching. I have been a Christian in name and a Sunday sermon attendee for many years and only during COVD lockdown have been exposed to many different preachers/churches/sermons, etc. through online teaching. And I rather think the lockdown is a blessing in disguise. That’s how I learned about The Elijah Challenge…and to a renewal of faith for a lot of Christians worldwide.
I have only recently stumbled on The Elijah Challenge and am fascinated, to put it mildly. A lot of believers I know have not heard of this teaching. I thank and praise our LORD for drawing me to your teaching. None of my friends are aware of it. I am glad that I caught it thanks to the pandemic. I have gained much—from a shallow believer to one with a deeper understanding of our faith and what we are to do with our belief system—the Great Commission.
I marveled how you gave up your “American Dream” and packed up with your wife in tow to a faraway hinterland, settling in a remote village to preach the gospel and to save souls. I cannot fathom the language constraints, living conditions, etc., etc. that you would have had to contend with while in Borneo. May God bless and keep you and your wife in His warm embrace and favor. Amazingly complete obedience to God’s command. Glory to God.”
