“For the past five years, Lumpa Bhatra (above & below) was unable to conceive. (In India, a barren woman can be a social outcast.) Along with her husband she consulted with a doctor who treated her with drugs, but to no avail. She then went to see another doctor, but again with no result. After that she met with a doctor specializing in ayurvedic medicine. But still Lumpa could not conceive. By this time she was under great stress. She and her husband would often quarrel over her inability to bear offspring. Even her displeased in-laws would get involved. Then she heard about our Elijah Challenge workers and met with them. They ministered to Lumpa with supernatural authority and power in the wondrous name of the Messiah Jesus, and after that she conceived. Lumpa now has a healthy baby girl (see mother and baby below). Both she and her husband have accepted Jesus Christ as their only Lord and Savior.”

“An elderly man named Mahadev (below) could not hear for three years. He had consulted with a doctor who treated him with prescription medication for three months, but he remained deaf. Then our Elijah Challenge workers came and ministered to Mahadev in the name of our Messiah Jesus. Miraculously, his hearing was restored and he could hear clearly. Mahadev then put his faith in Jesus and accepted Him as Lord and Savior.”

“Basa (below) was tormented by a demonic spirit of suicide. Several times he had tried to kill himself. He had deliberately jumped off a tree, and tried to hang himself from a ceiling fan with a rope around his neck. His family took him to see a sorcerer, but the sorcerer was helpless to deliver him. After spending much money on various kinds of treatment in vain, his family took to see our Elijah Challenge workers. They rebuked the demon with authority in the name of our Messiah Jesus commanding it to come out of Basa, and it left him. After being set free, Basa believed and accepted Jesus Christ.”

“For two years Bajayanti (below) suffered from a problem in her uterus. Various tests had been performed on her at the hospital and medicine was prescribed for her. But after taking it faithfully for five months, Bajayanti was not well. Her doctor then instructed her to go for more tests in the central hospital. Meanwhile her family had come into contact with our Elijah Challenge workers who came and ministered to Bajayanti in the wondrous name of Jesus Christ. The Lord touched her, and she was miraculously healed from the problem in her uterus. She then believed and accepted Jesus Christ.”

“A young boy named Abisekh (below) had a nonstop fever. He was admitted to the hospital. But since the doctors there could not diagnose and therefore treat his condition, Abisekh was taken back home. After a few days the boy was brought to one of our house churches where our workers ministered to him in the name of our Messiah Jesus. The constant fever disappeared and Abisekh was wonderfully healed. His grateful family then believed and accepted Jesus Christ.”

The Elijah Challenge equips nameless harvest workers to reach resistant people groups fruitfully by training them to heal the sick miraculously and consistently as Jesus did and as he promised that believers would do (John 14:11-12)—as irrefutable evidence that Jesus is the Messiah and the only way to the One True God who created the heavens and the earth. These thousand reports (out of thousands of reports) were received from our workers during approximately the past four to five years.
Since 2018 our trained workers in and around Odisha have planted 1,755 new house churches with 65,730 new believers as of December 9, 2023, reaching 42 previously unreached people groups, including high caste Hindu groups which are among the most resistant and difficult to reach. This is in the region of Orissa (Odisha) State alone, considered the poorest state in India where Fundamentalist Hinduism reigns. Water baptism is illegal. Up in North India our trained harvest workers are seeing similar harvests among the Hindus and Sikhs.
