“For two months a Hindu woman named Sunima (above & below) was demon-possessed. She would scream, cry, and run away from home. Her terrified parents were forced to lock her up at home. They took her to various sorcerers to have her delivered, but all their efforts failed. As a last resort, her parents asked our Elijah Challenge workers to pray and to cast out the demon. Our workers went to their home and rebuked the demon with great supernatural authority in the wondrous name of the Messiah Jesus. The demon promptly obeyed and left Sunima. After that she accepted Jesus Christ as her only Lord and Savior.”

“A Hindu man named Mishra Santa (below) had injured his leg leaving him unable to walk normally. He had consulted with a doctor and had been prescribed medicine. But the injury was not healed and he was still unable to walk normally. Then our Elijah Challenge workers came and ministered to him in Jesus’ name over a period of two days. “For a year a man named Manoj Kerketta (below) had a kidney infection. His doctor prescribed a drug for him, but after taking it for a long time his condition persisted. He then tried ayurvedic medicine for weeks, but the infection remained. After spending and wasting a lot of money in vain, he heard about our Elijah Challenge workers and contacted them. They came and over a few days they ministered to him regularly with power and authority in the name of Jesus. Manoj was then miraculously healed of the kidney infection. He and his family then believed and accepted Jesus Christ.”

“Soma Kujur (below), a middle-aged Hindu woman, experienced severe pain due to a stomach infection. She went to see a doctor who performed various tests on her, but despite the horrid pain all the tests came out negative. Soma then consulted with another doctor who prescribed medicine for her which made her feel physically very weak. Then our Elijah Challenge workers came and ministered to her regularly for two weeks. Soma was healed from the infection and consequent pain. She then accepted Jesus Christ.”

“For twenty days young Pinkey (below) suffered from a fever and cough. Instead of going to the hospital she instead went for treatment by the village sorcerer. She was given medicine, but to no avail. Then our Elijah Challenge workers ministered to her with supernatural authority and power in the wondrous name of the Messiah Jesus, and Pinkey was miraculously healed. After that her parents decided to believe in Jesus Christ as their only Lord and Savior.”

The Elijah Challenge equips nameless harvest workers to reach resistant people groups fruitfully by training them to heal the sick miraculously and consistently as Jesus did and as he promised that believers would do (John 14:11-12)—as irrefutable evidence that Jesus is the Messiah and the only way to the One True God who created the heavens and the earth. These thousand reports (out of thousands of reports) were received from our workers during approximately the past four to five years.
Since 2018 our trained workers in and around Odisha have planted 1,755 new house churches with 65,730 new believers as of December 9, 2023, reaching 42 previously unreached people groups, including high caste Hindu groups which are among the most resistant and difficult to reach. This is in the region of Orissa (Odisha) State alone, considered the poorest state in India where Fundamentalist Hinduism reigns. Water baptism is illegal. Up in North India our trained harvest workers are seeing similar harvests among the Hindus and Sikhs.
