“For two years a Hindu named Tanak Sahu (above & below) suffered from advanced liver cancer. At the cancer hospital where he had been admitted, his condition was so severe he could no longer even talk. He had undergone chemotherapy and taken cancer drugs, but nothing could help him. Then our Elijah Challenge workers came and ministered to Tanak with supernatural authority and power in the wondrous name of the Messiah Jesus over a period of a month. Tanak was miraculously healed from the cancer. After the gospel was shared with him and his family, they accepted Jesus as their only Lord and Savior.”

“For two months a young Hindu man named Mengnath (below) was possessed by a demon. He had no idea how it had entered him. He would act totally out of his mind, shouting, laughing, and at times crying. His father had taken him to the hospital where he was prescribed medicine, but it had no effect. Then his father consulted with a sorcerer who spoke mantras over Mengnath, but again it was to no avail. His father then heard about our Elijah Challenge workers. He contacted them and asked for their help. They came and rebuked the demon, commanding it to come out of Mengnath in the name of the Messiah Jesus. The demon obeyed and left. Mengnath was wonderfully delivered and totally set free. The family then accepted Jesus Christ as their only Lord and Savior.”

“Bijeswari, the young woman below, had injured her right hand. She could no longer raise the hand, and consequently was forced to stop working. She had gone to various hospitals to consult with doctors and had been prescribed various medications, but her hand could not recover. After our Elijah Challenge workers ministered to her in the marvelous name of our Lord Jesus, her hand was miraculously restored and she could move it freely. (Watch the video below.) “A baby boy name Suman (below with his mother) had fever and vomiting for a week. Medication could not lower his fever or stop the vomiting. When our Elijah Challenge workers came and ministered to the boy in the name of the Messiah Jesus, the fever and vomiting abruptly ceased and he was well. The parents then believed and accepted Jesus Christ.”

The Elijah Challenge equips nameless harvest workers to reach resistant people groups fruitfully by training them to heal the sick miraculously and consistently as Jesus did and as he promised that believers would do (John 14:11-12)—as irrefutable evidence that Jesus is the Messiah and the only way to the One True God who created the heavens and the earth. These thousand reports (out of thousands of reports) were received from our workers during approximately the past four to five years.
Since 2018 our trained workers in and around Odisha have planted 1,755 new house churches with 65,730 new believers as of December 9, 2023, reaching 42 previously unreached people groups, including high caste Hindu groups which are among the most resistant and difficult to reach. This is in the region of Orissa (Odisha) State alone, considered the poorest state in India where Fundamentalist Hinduism reigns. Water baptism is illegal. Up in North India our trained harvest workers are seeing similar harvests among the Hindus and Sikhs.
