Extremely devout Hindu woman trusted her idols to heal her from long-term diabetes and arthritis
For a long time Drupati (above & below) had suffered from diabetes and arthritis. She would worship her idols early every morning and faithfully performed rituals for them thinking that she would be healed. But there was no relief for her. So Drupati went to the local hospital where she was prescribed medicine. But that also failed. She was very discouraged after both her idols and the medical treatment failed to alleviate her suffering. Finally she heard about our Elijah Challenge workers and contacted them asking for prayer. They came to her home and ministered to her with supernatural authority and power in the wondrous name of the Messiah Jesus. Drupati was then miraculously healed from both the diabetes and the arthritis. She gratefully accepted Jesus Christ along with her family.

Sorcerer could not deliver a demon-possessed Hindu woman who could no longer recognized people
For three months Kamala (below) had been tormented by the demon causing her also to speak very harshly to people. Her family had brought her to a sorcerer who treated her, but the demon would not leave. She even cursed the sorcerer as he tried to help her. After she had been tormented for months, her family somehow heard about our Elijah Challenge ministry and summoned our workers. After arriving at their home, they rebuked the demon harshly, commanding it leave Kamala with authority in the name of the Messiah Jesus. The demon left, and Kamala was miraculously set free. After that her entire family believed and accepted Jesus Christ.

Young Hindu woman had sickle cell anemia for two years
Her name was Aruna (below), and had been under treatment by her doctor. After taking the medication faithfully and following all the doctor’s orders regarding diet, Aruna was still not well. Her husband then took her to several other places for treatment and spent a lot of money, but all to no avail. Then when our Elijah Challenge workers ministered to Aruna in the name of Jesus Christ, she was miraculously healed from the sickle cell anemia. After that Aruna accepted Jesus Christ.

Hindu woman had suffered from gynecological issues for years
Rojalin (below) had already consulted with a doctor and given prescription medicine to take. After her issues continued, she then took allopathic medicine. After that failed to help her, she tried ayurvedic medicine. But nothing helped. Finally our Elijah Challenge workers came and ministered to her in Jesus’ name. Rojalin was then healed from her gynecological problems. After that she believed in Jesus and received Him as her only Lord and Savior.

Young Hindu boy injured in fall from bicycle on his way to school causing untreatable pain
Although Raj (below with his Dad) did not suffer from any severe injury in the fall, he had to endure pain in his bones. His doctor prescribed medication for him, but the pain persisted. But after our Elijah Challenge workers came and ministered to him in the name of Jesus, the pain vanished and Raj was healed. Raj and his family then accepted Jesus Christ.

The Elijah Challenge equips nameless harvest workers to reach resistant people groups fruitfully by training them to heal the sick miraculously and consistently as Jesus did and as he promised that believers would do (John 14:11-12)—as irrefutable evidence that Jesus is the Messiah and the only way to the One True God who created the heavens and the earth. Since 2018 our trained workers in and around Odisha have planted 1,755 new house churches with 65,730 new believers as of December 9, 2023, reaching 42 previously unreached people groups, including high caste Hindu groups which are among the most resistant and difficult to reach. This is in the region of Orissa (Odisha) State alone, considered the poorest state in India where Fundamentalist Hinduism reigns. Water baptism is illegal. Up in North India our trained harvest workers are seeing similar harvests among the Hindus and Sikhs.
