Reports: The Elijah Challenge in Brazil
The Elijah Challenge conducted a two-evening event at a rapidly-growing cell church with the acronym “INEMPI” located about an hour from the Valley of Blessing in Sao Paulo. The first evening we gave a crash course on how Jesus healed the sick in the gospels. Then on the second night we held an evangelistic healing service where the disciples did what Jesus did (John 14:12) and healed the sick in his name to confirm the message of the gospel. With power the Lord used His disciples, who made short work of the infirmities as they laid hands on the sick and exercised authority in Jesus’ name. People who had been healed lined up on the stage to testify publicly what the Lord had done for them. The testimonies clearly demonstrated that Jesus Christ has authority to forgive sin and save from condemnation in hell. Six precious souls then came forward to make Jesus Christ their Lord and Savior. It was a glorious and satisfying meeting.
