Our Messiah Jesus declared:
John 14:11 Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the works themselves.
“The evidence“ that Jesus is in the Father and the Father is in Jesus are the miraculous works which He performed as recorded in the gospels. He healed many sick people and delivered many from demons. Then in the very next verse Jesus solemnly promised:
12 Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me WILL DO THE WORKS I have been doing…
The Lord’s promise in verse 12 above was fulfilled by the early disciples in Acts. They performed the miraculous works that Jesus did resulting in great harvests of souls as recorded in Acts.
During these CRITICAL Last Days when we must fulfill the Great Commission among the thousands of extremely difficult to reach people groups which have never heard the gospel, the Lord is again fulfilling His incredible promise in verse 12 above. Harvest workers sent to such people groups can now be trained to heal the sick miraculously and cast out demons exactly as Jesus did—as irrefutable evidence that Jesus is the Messiah and the only way to the One True God who created the universe.
