“I want to share how during this lockdown period a Nepali gentleman, Santosh Rai, was seeking for freedom from fear and panic attacks. A Nepali pastor, Pastor Silas Lopchan gave me his phone number last Thursday (7 May 2020). I had a leader to call him because some of the Nepali people speak so fast in Nepali that I can’t understand them.

Santosh was just desperate to be set free from the panic attacks he has been suffering for years and someone told him Jesus can help him. He told me that when he had this attacks he had no will to live and he couldn’t breathe properly. I shared with him John 10:10 (NKJV) – “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”

During the service, I rebuked the spirits of fear and depression from him in Jesus’ Name.

He accepted the Lord Jesus and he testified in our online church service yesterday that Jesus has set him free of the panic attacks.

Today I met him and prayed for him, and he feels so very happy. Praise God! Hallelujah! He is really so happy to be with Jesus and wants to give up cigarettes, alcohol and idol worship. Praise God! The devil used the spirit of fear and depression to destroy his life but our Lord Jesus gives us abundant life full of His love, joy and peace.

Our Nepali church are so happy about this new convert despite the fact we had no actual gathering except online through Skype. I thought that since we are not meeting during this lockdown period, we would not have any new converts but God surprises us indeed!

So remember that when we pass the message to someone in desperate need that ‘Jesus can help you’, it’s a seed of salvation.”
