Praise Report – April 2024
“Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God (Philippians 4:6).
In the month April we had 3 major gospel meeting. The first meeting was held in a Pind of Gujjarpura, District Amritsar, Punjab. Pastor Rajpal organised the first gospel meeting that was attended by over 300 people. As the word was preached by Pastor Shakuntla 8 people were delivered from evil spirits. Also many people received the gift of tongues in this meeting. About 68 people got saved in this gospel meeting. Many testified of healings from pains, headache and Back pain. A sister who came to this prayer meeting had a boil behind her son’s ear. She showed it to many places, but she did not get relief anywhere. When prayers were offered for him, he was healed. Another sister who had lost her job during Covid was facing a lot of financial problems. Then prayers were offered for her and she got a job in a bank within 3 days. There was a daughter whose body was full of smallpox and everybody around her, her relatives were asking to take her to the Tantrik, to take her to some other place, but she had faith in Jesus Christ and she prayed in the congregation and she was healed.
The Second gospel meeting and feeding event was organized in village Malu nangal, Amritshar, Punjab, by Pastor Ranjeet. Over 250 people attended this meeting and 44 people accepted Lord Jesus as Saviour when Pastor Shakuntla preached the word and ministered to the sick and needy. So many people testified of healings and 8 people received deliverance from evil spirits. There is another sister whose uncle’s daughter got an injection in her hand and the injection ripened and formed a lump and when an incision was made on it, it got festered and was not healing, so when prayer was sung for her in the meeting, it started getting better and her wound started healing, now she is very happy. Another young boy who was addicted to drugs for many years, used to remain drunk from morning till evening, when his family members brought him to the prayer meeting and prayed for him, he did not consume any drugs the next day, it was a big miracle for his family and they believed in the name of Lord Jesus and they started coming to the church.
The Third gospel meeting was organised at Binda pur, New Delhi. Pastor Prem Masih arranged this meeting. More than 80 people attended the meeting in this area. All those who came to the meeting belong to hindu and muslim families. Pastor Shakuntla preached the Living Word of God and prayed for deliverance. Same time over 5 people were delivered from Evils sprit. Many people received the gift of tongues. About 14 people accepted Lord Jesus as Saviour. many people testified of healings. There was a brother whose first wife had filed a court case against him for 15 years due to which he was facing a lot of financial problems and when he came to the prayer meeting and prayers were offered for him, Jesus Christ freed him from that case.
Bethel Church organized Easter service for believers and non-believers. Many people from other races came to Bethel Church with the believers and heard the gospel and how Jesus Christ was raised. After hearing this, they accepted Jesus Christ. Many people have agreed to take baptism among them.
Our associate pastors and ministry workers continue to have small group meeting and house meetings in Delhi and other areas of north India. This month we had more than 46 small group and house meetings. We continue to strengthen the congregation in the word though our weekly bible studies with Brother Nishant David every Saturday. We also continue to have 3 days fasting prayer service on the 1st, 2nd and the 3rd of this month.
We thank Lord Jesus for his great mercy and love. We thank Him for His marvellous works and give Him all the glory, honour and praise. We also thank all our ministry partners and supporters for their prayer, support and love. May Lord Jesus continue to bless you all.
