Praise Report –August 2024

“Even to your old age and gray hairs I am he, I am he who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you.”  (Isaiah 46.4)

 In the month of August, we organized two prayer meetings in Punjab Ferozepur. These meetings were within 2 km of the India-Pakistan border. In this, the word of the Lord reached village Reta Bhaini for the first time and our associate pastor Prem established a church here. Yes, no evangelistic meeting was held before this. When this meeting was held, many new non-believers came and accepted Jesus.

Village Reta Bhaini, Firozepur, Punjab

The first meeting was held in a Village Reta Bhaini, District Firozepur, Punjab. Pastor Gurmeet organised the first gospel meeting that was attended by over 170 people. As the word was preached by Pastor Shakuntla, 12 people were delivered from evil spirits and 26 people accepted to Jesus Christ. Also many people received the gift of tongues in this meeting. Many people were healed from different diseases. Some great testimonies of the Lord also come. A brother came to a gospel meeting who had a fungal infection on his shoulder for three-four years and the brother consulted many doctors but did not get any relief. When he came to the prayer meeting, when the pastor prayed for everyone’s healing, the brother received his prayer and told the pastor after two days that he was starting to heal. Another sister whose husband had many lumps on his legs. When he went to work, he could not work. And he kept crying. That sister went to the prayer meeting and prayed for her husband, and he began to get better. She told the pastor on the phone that God had done great things in her husband’s life. There was a child whose stomach was swollen since childhood and the doctor said that there is no cure for it but when he got the priest to pray for his stomach, he got relief. He is from a Sikh family and he believes in Jesus. We have faith in God that he will be completely cured. Seeing the great work of Jesus, the people there accepted him as Lord and invited us again for a big meeting.

Village Mamdot Ghode Chaak, Firozepur, Punjab 

.Second gospel meeting and feeding event was organized by Pastor Mangat in village Mamdot Ghoda Chaak, Firozepur, Punjab. Pastor Shakuntla preached the word of God and over 14 people committed their lives to Lord Jesus in a gathering of 160 people. Over 12 people testified of the touch of Holy Spirit and healings. More than 12 people were delivered from the evil spirits. There was a brother who had -3.5 glasses and he could not see anyone without them. When the brother got Pastor Shakuntala to pray, the brother’s eyes were completely healed. He started seeing blurry in his glasses but when he removed the glasses, he could see clearly. An amazing thing happened in brother’s life. He testified about it on stage. There was another sister whose husband had a severe eye infection. It looked like his eyes were bleeding and he couldn’t see properly. The sister prayed for her husband at the prayer meeting and when the sister got home, her husband’s eye infection was cured. There was a brother whose brother-in-law was bitten by a snake. He was admitted in the hospital and his condition was very serious. When this brother came to this meeting with his prayer, when prayers were done for him, his brother-in-law who was in the hospital started getting well and is out of danger. And he was discharged from the hospital.

Village Bhuigaon, Chhattisgarh State

 Another gospel meeting was organized by Pastor Hanok in village Bhuigaon, Chhattisgarh. Our associate Pastor Hanok Nathaniel preached the word of God and over 12 people committed their lives to Lord Jesus in a gathering of 60 people. Over 16 people testified of the touch of Holy Spirit and healings. More than 10 people were delivered from the evil spirits. Also many people received the gift of tongues in this meeting. Many people were healed from different diseases.

In August we had over 28 house meetings. The Christian family association (Bethel church) also continues to have 3 days fasting prayer service on the 5th, 6th and the 7th of this month and Sunday church service. The church also has the online bible study every Saturday with Brother Nishant David.

We thank Lord Jesus for his great mercy and love. We thank Him for His marvellous works and give Him all the glory, honour and praise. We also thank all our ministry partners and supporters for their prayer, support and love. May Lord Jesus continue to bless you all.
