Extraordinary reports from our harvest workers in India

Reports from our workers in India—trained just as Jesus trained and sent the 72 disciples in Luke 10: “Heal the sick who are there and tell them, ‘the kingdom of God has come near to you.'” Our workers are now seeing the same results: “The 72 returned with joy and said, ‘Lord, even the demons submit to us in your name.’”

Prasanti, a twenty-year-old young woman had conceived. But during her pregnancy she had not been in good health. After she delivered a baby girl her hands and legs were paralyzed. The doctor sent her home without any hope. Everyone thought that Prasanti would certainly die. But her husband called our trained workers for prayer. Though she was barely clinging to life, our workers went and ministered to her continuously over a period of two days. Prasanti began to move her hands and legs. Our Lord Jesus Christ touched her and she was miraculously healed. Both Prasanti and her husband accepted Christ.
A four-year-girl named Smruti was unable to talk. She only spoke when calling her mother “maa.” Her parents were very worried seeing her grow physically, but not speaking. They called our Elijah Challenge workers after hearing that when they pray, miracles take place. Our worker went to their home and ministered to Smruti with power and authority in Jesus’ name. Praise the Lord at that moment she started speaking. Seeing the miracle her family believed in Jesus Christ and accepted him as their Lord and Savior.
Dakkikumuti was very concerned and upset after being diagnosed with a tumour in his stomach. He didn’t want to undergo an operation, but was willing to take medication. He approached our Elijah Challenge worker and asked for prayer. As he ministered to him in Jesus’ name the tumour miraculously disappeared. Praise God the entire family accepted Christ.
Trinath’s wife suffered from severe pain in her spine. But he was poor and could not afford to take her to the big hospital for treatment. She was only taking medicine prescribed for her by their village nurse. For a year she suffered from the pain with no relief. She came to our Elijah Challenge workers’ fellowship. They requested prayer for Trinath’s wife, and opened up their home for a visit. Our worker and his wife went to their home to minister to her. The pain disappeared. She was completely healed. Now they attend the fellowship every Sunday.
Juramambala, an elderly man, had had pain in his leg for the past year. Due to his swollen condition he was unable even to walk. After our worker ministered him the pain left, but the swelling remained. After he ministered to him again, the swelling went down.
A young man named Pitarapanga had suffered from seizures since the age of five. Beginning at that time his parents had taken him from doctor to doctor. He had been prescribed medication for years, but the seizures persisted as he grew up. One day our Elijah Challenge workers entered their village with the gospel. His family asked our workers to pray over him. After they ministered to him for three days he was completely free from the seizures. Praise the Lord that a door for the gospel in another new village has been opened. Seven people accepted Christ.
A young man, Bhanja Sabara, had a bad fever for two days. Because he was sick and he would have to walk to the hospital 3 kilometers away, he was unable to see a doctor. (He was poor and wouldn’t have been able to afford it in any case.) On the second day at night his family summoned our Elijah Challenge worker who went and ministered to Bhanja. His temperature went down. His family was so happy to witness Bhanja miraculously well at that moment. Now the family members believe in Jesus and are attending the home fellowship.
A little girl named Basanti had malaria and typhoid. She was taking medicine for it, but the very heavy dosage made her vomit continually. She was also feverish. Our workers ministered to her in Jesus’ name, and she was completely well. Her vomiting stopped. Praise the Lord.
