From what is now taking place around the world especially in Israel, it appears that we are now in fact in the Last Days. However, before the end comes, the Church must fulfill the Great Commission by discipling all nations and people groups (Matthew 24:14; 28:19).

According to Joshua Project, there remain over 7,000 People Groups in the world which must be reached before the end comes. Such Unreached People Groups for whom the gospel is totally foreign are typically highly resistant to the gospel of Jesus. They generally cannot be reached effectively and fruitfully by traditional missionary approaches. Rather, we must follow the approach of the early disciples as recorded in the gospels and in Acts.

To reach so many Unreached People Groups during the short time which remains, there must be an acceleration in missions in order to reap the great harvests we see in Acts. This will require mission workers today to be equipped exactly as Jesus equipped His disciples in the gospels.

Luke 9:1 When Jesus had called the Twelve together, he gave them power and authority to drive out all demons and to cure diseases, 2 and he sent them out to proclaim the kingdom of God and to heal the sick.

During these Last Days, the Lord has called us to equip mission workers with supernatural power and authority to drive out all demons and to heal diseases as irrefutable miraculous evidence to resistant people groups that the kingdom of God is near.

Our calling is to train mission workers to carry out the Lord’s commands in Luke 10:9.

“Heal the sick who are there and tell them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.’”
