Malachi 4:5 “See, I will send the prophet Elijah to you before that great and dreadful day of the Lord comes.
Above is a prophesy which the Lord is now fulfilling before the Second Coming of the Messiah when the Great Commission must be fulfilled. What is the spirit and power of Elijah?
Matthew 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to ALL NATIONS, and then the end will come.
According to missiologists (see Joshua Project), there are over 7,000 “NATIONS” around the world where Jesus Christ is unknown. Before the Messiah Jesus returns, all of these 7,000 “NATIONS” must first be reached with the gospel before the end will come. Typically such “Unreached People Groups” are very resistant to the gospel. They are totally dominated by Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Taoism, idol-worship, animism, and belief in sorcery.
To reach such peoples groups fruitfully and in significant numbers, irrefutable evidence must first be presented to them.

The spirit and power of Elijah
In 1 Kings 17 at Mt. Carmel, Elijah confronted the prophets of Baal with a very bold challenge.
24 Then you call on the name of your god, and I will call on the name of the Lord. The god who answers by fire—he is God.” Then all the people said, “What you say is good.”
After the Lord answer Elijah’s prayer with fire from heaven that consumed the sacrifice before the eyes of the Israelites in verse 39, the totally astounded Israelites fell prostrate and cried, “The Lord—he is God! The Lord—he is God!”
During these Last Days, the same spirit of boldness and power is being restored to trained harvest workers in India who are now reaching resistant Hindus in unprecedented numbers through the use of biblical miracles: healing the sick miraculously and casting out demons in the wondrous name of our Messiah Jesus.
