Chris Villasana is a young Texan who attended The Elijah Challenge Training at Braeswood Assembly of God in Houston in April 2007. On June 1, 2008 Chris preached at The Spring Festival, an open-air community event held in Houston by Encourager Church. Below is his report.

"The event was a real punch in the face to the devil. Many believers were out praying with the lost and witnessing to them before the 'ministry' ever began. Every one was so fired up to finally be able to put this new-found authority to use. When the preaching ended and the people came up to be healed, a young lady was delivered from depression. She had said that she was suffering from a horrible depression and when the believers laid hands on her and began to rebuke it she was set free from the heartache and knew that Jesus loved her. Another brother named Paul had been in a car wreck four months earlier leaving him with a weak knee and an ankle with bones that had not healed correctly taking away the ability to turn it normally. It forced him to limp along abnormally when he walked. A few brothers laid their hands on his leg, taking authority over the pain, the bones, the tendons, the swelling, the inflammation, and the knee. Paul was walking normally afterwards and testified that there had been a drastic healing.

Afterwards, five people repented of their sins, and decided to follow the Lord Jesus with all of their heart. Two of them were lesbians who had come together as a couple. Another was a boy around 15 years old. The other two were a Mexican man and his pregnant girlfriend. He had been so changed when he met the Lord Jesus Christ that he could not even stop smiling even if he tried. He was so changed by the love of God."
