“Uma Bhoi (below) belongs to a traditional Hindu family. Following a dispute with some villagers they enlisted the help of a sorcerer who put a curse on her. The suffering was intense. Uma would feel terrible burning on a particular place on her leg. Medicine didn’t help. Her family sought help from another sorcerer, but the searing pain did not let up. Finally, after our Elijah Challenge workers ministered to her in the name of Jesus Christ, Uma was miraculous healed. Both she and her husband accepted Jesus Christ. They are childless but and they believe God will do another miracle for their family.

In a village called Bikrampur, a mother had a stroke and couldn’t walk or eat. She had taken medication, but didn’t see any improvement. Then our Elijah Challenge workers ministered to her over three days. She was miraculously healed. She began to walk and eat. Her family believed and accepted Jesus Christ.
For two months Munja Tandi (below) suffered from fever and headache. Even after taking medicine regularly, his condition was very serious. Finally Munja had to be admitted to a hospital. The doctor, however, could not identify the problem. After returning home from the hospital, Munja lost consciousness. Later the family came to realize that it was a demonic attack originating from a sorcerer. Our Elijah Challenge workers came and ministered to him in Jesus’ name, and he regained consciousness. Then our workers shared with them about the miraculous ministry of Jesus Christ. They believed and accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.

Lata (below) was bedridden for a month due to a ghastly demon attack. Her husband first took her to the hospital. When that came to naught, he took Lata to a sorcerer, but again to no avail. Only after our Elijah Challenge workers ministered to her was she completely delivered. Her family accepted Christ.

For a long time a woman had suffered from swelling in her right leg. Much prescription medication could not make the swelling go down. A priest advised her to go to the temple once a week to pour water on a goddess twenty-one times. But even after serving the goddess so faithfully, she was sorely disappointed. But when our Elijah Challenge worker ministered to her in the wonderful name of Jesus, she was completely healed.
