Wife-beating Hindu man addicted to alcohol miraculously healed and set free AT A DISTANCE in Jesus’ name
Due to Etwa Oram’s (above & below) alcoholism, he would often quarrel with his wife and beat her. He would quarrel with other villagers as well. His distraught wife met with our Elijah Challenge workers in secret asking them to pray for her husband. Without Etwa’s knowledge, our workers ministered to him at a distance, rebuking the spirit of addiction with authority and commanding it to leave him in the wondrous name of Jesus. The Lord touched Etwa wondrously and set him free from the alcohol. He stopped drinking and accepted Jesus Christ. Their family is now enjoying harmony and peace in the Lord. (This miracle is similar to that performed by Jesus in Matthew 15:21-28.)

For months Hindu man could not walk, stand, or even sit due to severe accident
Jitendra Tappo (below) had suffered from severe injuries in the accident. He had already received initial treatment from a government hospital, but to no avail. Then our Elijah Challenge workers came and ministered to Jitendra with supernatural authority and power in the name of the Messiah Jesus. He was miraculously healed and able to get up, stand, and walk. After that Jitendra accepted Jesus Christ.
Poor Hindu woman could not afford medical treatment for jaundice as well as liver and kidney infections
After her doctor diagnosed her with liver and kidney infections, Talbi (below) and her family found themselves in a crisis. Treatment at their city’s private hospital would be totally beyond the reach of this indigent family. Hopeless confusion set in. Then somehow Talbi’s husband was connected with our Elijah Challenge workers. They came and ministered to Talbi with supernatural authority and power in the name of the Messiah Jesus. She was wondrously healed from the terrible diseases afflicting her. After that both Talbi and her husband accepted Jesus Christ.

Demon-possessed son of Hindu woman could not be helped by sorcerer
Tukuni’s (below) son had been attacked by the demon. She had sought help from a sorcerer, but he was powerless to deliver the boy. Then our Elijah Challenge workers came and rebuked the demon attacking the boy with supernatural authority in Jesus’ name. The demon obeyed and left. The grateful family then accepted Jesus Christ.

Hindu woman’s entire body was in pain due to arthritis
Our Elijah Challenge workers, who happened to be visiting Raibari’s (below) village at that moment, came and ministered to her with authority in the name of our Messiah Jesus. Raibari was then miraculously healed from the arthritis and accompanying pain. After that she believed and accepted Jesus Christ.

The Elijah Challenge equips nameless harvest workers to reach resistant people groups fruitfully by training them to heal the sick miraculously and consistently as Jesus did and as he promised that believers would do (John 14:11-12)—as irrefutable evidence that Jesus is the Messiah and the only way to the One True God who created the heavens and the earth. These thousand reports (out of thousands of reports) were received from our workers during approximately the past four to five years.
Since 2018 our trained workers in and around Odisha have planted over 2,165 new house churches with over 72,000 new believers as of October 2025, reaching 50 previously unreached people groups, including high caste Hindu groups which are among the most resistant and difficult to reach. This is in the region of Orissa (Odisha) State alone, considered the poorest state in India where Fundamentalist Hinduism reigns. Conversion to Christianity and water baptism are illegal. Up in North India our trained harvest workers are seeing similar harvests among the Hindus and Sikhs.
