Two hospitals and a sorcerer could not help Hindu man with severe typhoid fever and jaundice
Bikash Kujur had been admitted to a hospital, but since the treatment there proved ineffective he was moved to another hospital. But no recovery was in store for Bikash at the second hospital as well, and so he had to be taken home. There his family summoned a sorcerer who came and set up an idol altar in the home. While worshipping the idols Bikash would see demons appear and surround him. During that time his father also passed away. Finally, our Elijah Challenge workers came and ministered to Bikash with supernatural authority and power in the wondrous name of Jesus. He was miraculously healed from the typhoid and jaundice. Bikash then accepted Jesus Christ as his only Lord and Savior.

Hindu man severely injured in accident; left unconscious for ten days
Faruda Barua (below) stayed in the hospital for a month and a half. When he was discharged he had not recovered. His legs weren’t working properly. He couldn’t move his fingers normally, and other parts of his body were not functioning as well. Then our Elijah Challenge workers came and ministered to Faruda morning and evening over a period of a few days. With supernatural authority and power in the name of the Messiah Jesus, they commanded him to be healed. Faruda was then wondrously healed from his injuries. After that he and his family accepted Jesus Christ.

Hindu woman had cancerous tumor in her back
For six months Sima Lakda (below) suffered. She had been treated by her physician, but to no avail. Somehow she and her husband heard about the ministry of The Elijah Challenge. They started regularly attending one of our house churches where Sima received ministry in the authoritative name of Jesus. Within a few weeks the cancer in her back had disappeared. Both Sima and her husband believed and accepted Jesus Christ.

Hindu woman suffered from problem with menstruation
Her name is Bela Bagh (below). She had already taken medication for the problem, but there was no change. Then our Elijah Challenge workers came and ministered to Bela in the wondrous name of Jesus Christ. Miraculously, her menstruation returned to normal. She then accepted Jesus Christ.

Hindu woman’s back pain resisted medical treatment
Her name is Chandarbati (below). She had suffered for months despite all her doctor’s efforts. Then our Elijah Challenge workers came and ministered to her in the name of the Messiah Jesus. Chandarbati’s back was miraculous healed and the pain disappeared. She then accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior.

The Elijah Challenge equips nameless harvest workers to reach resistant people groups fruitfully by training them to heal the sick miraculously and consistently as Jesus did and as he promised that believers would do (John 14:11-12)—as irrefutable evidence that Jesus is the Messiah and the only way to the One True God who created the heavens and the earth. These thousand reports (out of thousands of reports) were received from our workers during approximately the past four to five years.
Since 2018 our trained workers in and around Odisha have planted over 2,165 new house churches with over 72,000 new believers as of October 2025, reaching 50 previously unreached people groups, including high caste Hindu groups which are among the most resistant and difficult to reach. This is in the region of Orissa (Odisha) State alone, considered the poorest state in India where Fundamentalist Hinduism reigns. Conversion to Christianity and water baptism are illegal. Up in North India our trained harvest workers are seeing similar harvests among the Hindus and Sikhs.
