The name of Jesus saves Hindu from certain death after poisonous snake bite
Lakra Garia (above & below) had been bitten by the snake while on his way to the river to attend to some personal needs. Pain immediately began to ripple through his body, absolutely terrifying him. Lakra thought about going to the hospital, but it was far from his village and the trip would take time—time which he did not have with the poison spreading though his body. Someone instead suggested that he seek help from our Elijah Challenge workers who lived nearby. So Lakra went to see them. After they ministered to him in the wondrous name of our Messiah Jesus, the pain from the poisonous bite subsided. He felt normal again.Later Lakra went to the hospital to consult with a doctor. After examining him, the doctor informed him that for some strange reason the poison from the snake bite had failed to spread in his body.
The name of Jesus had saved Lakra from death!
Afterwards Lakra believed in Jesus as His only Lord and Savior.

For three months depressed Hindu woman suffered from jaundice
Her name is Ullas Mumda (below). Her doctor had already treated her with prescription medicine, but the jaundice would not relent. Poor Ullas fell into deep depression. But then our Elijah Challenge workers came and ministered to her with supernatural authority and power in the name of Jesus Christ. Ullas was then miraculous healed from the jaundice. She then believed and accepted Jesus Christ

Doctor, sorcerer and Hindu temple priest could not help woman with arthritis
Khadia had suffered from the arthritis for a long time. Prescription medicine from her doctor had proved fruitless, as well as a visit to her local sorcerer and after that uttering mantras under a temple priest. Finally, as a last resort, Khadia approached our Elijah Challenge workers asking for help. They ministered to her in Jesus’ wondrous name, and Khadia was miraculously set free from the painful arthritis. She then accepted Jesus Christ.

Elderly grandmother Sukri was possessed by demon
Sukri had become a real headache for her family. Her eyes would even change in appearance from time to time. Over a stretch of a few days she was an continuous, unending source of stress and strain for her poor family. Then our Elijah Challenge workers came to minister deliverance to her by rebuking the demon and commanding it to come out with supernatural authority in the wondrous name of the Messiah Jesus. After that her grateful and relieved family believed in Jesus and accepted Him as their only Lord and Savior.

For twelve years elderly Hindu woman had uncontrollable seizures
Her name is Pyari, and had already consulted with several doctors and been under their treatment all to no avail. She had changed doctors and medical treatments, but the seizures continued unabated. Finally our Elijah Challenge workers came and ministered to her with power and authority in Jesus’ name. The seizures miraculously ceased, and Pyari was healed. The entire family then accepted Jesus Christ.

The Elijah Challenge equips nameless harvest workers to reach resistant people groups fruitfully by training them to heal the sick miraculously and consistently as Jesus did and as he promised that believers would do (John 14:11-12)—as irrefutable evidence that Jesus is the Messiah and the only way to the One True God who created the heavens and the earth. These thousand reports (out of thousands of reports) were received from our workers during approximately the past four to five years.
Since 2018 our trained workers in and around Odisha have planted 1,988 new house churches with 70,110 new believers as of the end of October 2024, reaching 50 previously unreached people groups, including high caste Hindu groups which are among the most resistant and difficult to reach. This is in the region of Orissa (Odisha) State alone, considered the poorest state in India where Fundamentalist Hinduism reigns. Water baptism is illegal. Up in North India our trained harvest workers are seeing similar harvests among the Hindus and Sikhs.
