Prosperous witchdoctor tormented by severe arthritis healed in Jesus’ name
For a long time, people would come to Mahanta Barla (above & below) for healing through witchcraft as well as with medicine. He would practice his craft in several villages, making a very good living. But over time he developed arthritis, resulting in severe pain over his whole body. Mahanta took his own medicine for relief, but there was none. Then he consulted a physician at a government hospital where he was prescribed medicine. Again there was no relief from the tormenting pain in his body. Finally, as a last resort, he approached our Elijah Challenge workers and asked them for prayer. Our workers ministered to Mahanta with supernatural authority and power in the wondrous name of the Messiah Jesus. The pain then subsided and he was miraculously healed. Amazingly, Mahanta the witchdoctor accepted Jesus Christ along with his wife.

Hindu girl repeatedly attacked by demon while at boarding school and became ill
The attacks would come upon Priti Kerketta (below) at night. She became very ill and was taken to a local hospital where she was prescribed medicine. But she could not recover. The nightmares brought upon Priti by the demons occurred again and again, leaving her in a totally frightened state. She was forced to go home. There her distressed parents contacted our Elijah Challenge workers. They came and ministered to Priti with supernatural authority over the demon in the wondrous name of Messiah Jesus. She was then wonderfully healed from her illness and delivered from the demonic attacks. Along with her grateful parents, Priti accepted Jesus Christ.

Hindu woman suffered from persistent migraine with no one to look after her
For a long time, Mangeri’s life (below) was miserable. There was no one to take her to the hospital to be treated for her terrible migraine headache. Then our Elijah Challenge workers came and ministered to Mangeri in the name of Messiah Jesus. At that moment she was miraculously healed and freed from the dreadful migraine. Mangeri then accepted Jesus as her only Lord and Savior.

For two years Hindu woman suffered from arthritis keeping her from working
Due to the incapacitating arthritis Sumati Bag (below) could not support herself financially, and had to depend on her family members. Then she heard about our Elijah Challenge workers, and met with them. They ministered to Sumati in the name of Messiah Jesus, and she was miraculously healed from the debilitating arthritis. She then believed in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

Hindu woman’s body was swollen for months and resisted medical treatment
Chondari Gonda (below) would frequent her local hospital over and over. For months she took the medicine prescribed for her by the doctor, but to no avail. Her body remained swollen. Then our Elijah Challenge workers came and ministered to her with the Lord’s supernatural authority and power. The swelling in Chondari’s body miraculously subsided. After that she accepted Jesus Christ.

The Elijah Challenge equips nameless harvest workers to reach resistant people groups fruitfully by training them to heal the sick miraculously and consistently as Jesus did and as he promised that believers would do (John 14:11-12)—as irrefutable evidence that Jesus is the Messiah and the only way to the One True God who created the heavens and the earth. In the green link above there are posted approximately 2,900 reports of the miraculous similar to those at the top of this page. These thousand reports (out of thousands of reports) were received from our workers during approximately the past four to five years.
Since 2018 our trained workers in and around Odisha have planted over 2,165 new house churches with over 72,000 new believers as of October 2025, reaching 50 previously unreached people groups, including high caste Hindu groups which are among the most resistant and difficult to reach. This is in the region of Orissa (Odisha) State alone, considered the poorest state in India where Fundamentalist Hinduism reigns. Conversion to Christianity and water baptism are illegal. Up in North India our trained harvest workers are seeing similar harvests among the Hindus and Sikhs.
