270 Hindus give their lives to Jesus Christ and an Elijah Challenge Church planted in an unreached village

Aghrthal Mandi is in Punjab

Director Joshua Gowda of The Elijah Challenge Training Center India reported:

"An Elijah Challenge Evangelistic Feeding Event was conducted at village Aghrthal Mandi Punjab, on August 14, 2009. Approximately three hundred and ninety Hindus came to attend the meeting. Close to 270 people raised their hands to receive Christ as their Lord and Saviour. We planted a new Elijah Challenge Church. Our Elijah Challenge-trained Pastor, Vikas Teji, told me on the telephone that on Sunday, August 16, 160 new believers gathered to worship the Lord Jesus. Praise God we were able to reach another unreached village and plant a church.

Miss Rahdika, a nursing student, came to attend our Feeding Event. She was tormented by a demon and a spirit of fear, Our Elijah Challenge-trained pastor Retesh Kumar commanded the spirit to leave in the name of Jesus. At that very moment she was released from the demons and gave thanks. She said she will follow Jesus forever.
