The Hindu state which Prime Minister Modi hopes to bring about is called Hindu Rastra. So we need special prayer for India, and especially for the work the Lord has assigned to us.”

“For twelve long years Jaya Dehuri (above & below) suffered from debilitating asthma which required her to take medicine daily. When she neglected to take it, even for a single day, she would be in agony. Instead of taking her to the hospital, her family requested our Elijah Challenge workers to pray over her. They came and with supernatural authority and power in the wondrous name of the Messiah Jesus they ministered to her. Jaya was wonderfully touched by the Lord and miraculously healed from the asthma. Along with her husband, Jaya received Jesus as her only Lord and Savior.”

“A woman named Sulochana (below) was afflicted by a tormenting burning sensation in her body. Medicine had been ineffective in helping her, and so she believed that it was the work of a demon sent by black magic. After our Elijah Challenge workers ministered to her, rebuking the demon and commanding it to leave her in the very powerful name of Jesus the Messiah, the burning sensation ceased and Sulochana was healed. She believed in Jesus and accepted Him as her Lord and Savior.”

“Hemant (below) had two major physical problems. His eyesight was very poor, and his knees were painful causing him difficulty walking. He had sought treatment everywhere—from his native village to the hospital in the district headquarters. He had consulted several doctors and had been treated with medication for a very long time. But his condition worsened and he became very weak. Eventually he had to depend on his wife to do his work for him. Then our Elijah Challenge workers came and ministered to Hemant in the name of the Messiah Jesus, and both his eyesight and knees were miraculously healed. He then accepted Jesus Christ.”

“For three years Dhanabati Rohidas (below) suffered from a back problem, rendering her unable to sit on the floor and cook for her family. Because of this the family had to find someone else to cook for them. When she took medicine for her back problem, there was a negative reaction and so she stopped taking it. But after our Elijah Challenge workers ministered to her in Jesus’ name, her back problem vanished and she was healed. Dhanabati then believed and accepted Jesus Christ.”

“For a long time, an elderly man named Harish (below) suffered from arthritis. His legs were so painful he could barely walk. The doctor he consulted had prescribed medicine for him, but after taking it for a long time there was no relief from the arthritis. Finally he attended one of our Elijah Challenge house churches where our workers ministered to him with power and authority in Jesus’ wondrous name. The Lord then healed him of the crippling arthritis. Harish then believed and accepted Jesus Christ.”

The Elijah Challenge equips nameless harvest workers to reach resistant people groups fruitfully by training them to heal the sick miraculously and consistently as Jesus did and as he promised that believers would do (John 14:11-12)—as irrefutable evidence that Jesus is the Messiah and the only way to the One True God who created the heavens and the earth. These thousand reports (out of thousands of reports) were received from our workers during approximately the past four to five years.
Since 2018 our trained workers in and around Odisha have planted 1,205 new house churches with over 48,000 new believers through May 2022, reaching 38 previously unreached people groups, including high caste Hindu groups which are among the most resistant and difficult to reach. This is in the region of Orissa (Odisha) State alone, considered the poorest state in India where Fundamentalist Hinduism reigns. Water baptism is illegal. Up in North India our trained harvest workers are seeing similar harvests among the Hindus and Sikhs.
