Hindu woman traumatized by life-threatening blood sugar over 300 mg/dL
Most of the time, Basanti Bhendra’s (above & below) sugar level was dangerously high. People who knew her did not think that she would survive, let alone recover. Even Basanti herself admitted to others that there was no hope for her. But a relative shared with her about the ministry of The Elijah Challenge. With her brother she went to see our workers. They ministered to Basanti with supernatural authority and power in the name of the Messiah Jesus. Basanti was wondrously healed and her blood sugar miraculously restored to normal. After that Basanti accepted Jesus as her only Lord and Savior.

Young Hindu lady had sickle cell anemia which resisted medical treatment
Dia (below) had suffered for the past few years from the condition. Her doctor had treated her from time to time, but the anemia persisted and she was never healed. Then she came into contact with our Elijah Challenge workers, who ministered to Dia in the name of the Messiah Jesus. She was then miraculously healed from the sickle cell. After that Dia believed and accepted Jesus Christ.

For two years Hindu woman suffered from severe back pain
Ulumpha Takri (below) had gone to her local hospital for treatment, but after taking the prescription medication for a long time the severe pain would not relent. On one particular day our Elijah Challenge workers were passing through her village. She summoned them and shared with them about the two years of suffering she had been enduring. They ministered to her with authority and power in Jesus’ wondrous name. The pain miraculously subsided and vanished. Ulumpha then accepted Jesus Christ.

Hindu man had difficulty sitting and walking following motorcycle accident
Santosh (below) injured his knee during a fall from his bike years ago. Since then, he experienced pain in his knee despite medical treatment. Just sitting and walking became a chore for him, not to mention riding his motorcycle. But then our Elijah Challenge workers ministered to Santosh in the name of Jesus. Santosh was wonderfully healed from the injury, and accepted Jesus Christ.

Young Hindu woman stricken with out-of-control diarrhea for a few days
When the medication prescribed for her did not help to control her diarrhea, Romi Munda (below) was overcome with anxiety. But then our Elijah Challenge workers came to pray and to minister to her in the wondrous name of the Messiah Jesus. Her diarrhea then subsided and Romi was miraculously healed. She believed in Jesus, accepting Him as her Lord and Savior.

The Elijah Challenge equips nameless harvest workers to reach resistant people groups fruitfully by training them to heal the sick miraculously and consistently as Jesus did and as he promised that believers would do (John 14:11-12)—as irrefutable evidence that Jesus is the Messiah and the only way to the One True God who created the heavens and the earth. These thousand reports (out of thousands of reports) were received from our workers during approximately the past four to five years.
Since 2018 our trained workers in and around Odisha have planted over 2,165 new house churches with over 72,000 new believers as of October 2025, reaching 50 previously unreached people groups, including high caste Hindu groups which are among the most resistant and difficult to reach. This is in the region of Orissa (Odisha) State alone, considered the poorest state in India where Fundamentalist Hinduism reigns. Conversion to Christianity and water baptism are illegal. Up in North India our trained harvest workers are seeing similar harvests among the Hindus and Sikhs.
