Entire village thought severely demon-possessed girl would not survive
For two years Basumati (above & below) would be attacked from time to time. She would just cry and totally refuse to take any food. Her parents had spent piles of rupees taking her to many sorcerers for treatment as well as a temple priest, all to no avail for their one and only daughter. Her condition deteriorated and became life-threatening.
Then her parents brought her to us. When we first saw Basumati, we wondered how she could even survive. Nevertheless we ministered to her, rebuking the demon and with supernatural authority in the wondrous name of Jesus commanding it to leave her. After that we asked her parents to take her back home.
AND THEN….
Basumati was marvelously delivered from the demon. At home she started eating again. The Lord had saved her from death. After that Basumati’s parents and entire family accepted Jesus Christ.

Hindu woman left in coma following brain injury due to severe accident
Her name is Sriya Bag (below) and had been in a coma for a month. After she regained consciousness, she heard about our Elijah Challenge workers and asked them to come see her. They came and ministered to Sriya with power and authority in Jesus’ name. Within a few days her brain was miraculously healed. She then believed and accepted Jesus Christ.

Hindu man had severe kidney infection which defied medical treatment
Rajendra Naik (below) had already seen his doctor who had prescribed medication for him. But his condition worsened. He then consulted other doctors, but their treatment also proved futile. Then our Elijah Challenge workers came and ministered to Rajendra with power and authority in the name of our Messiah Jesus. He was then miraculously healed from the infection. He accepted Jesus Christ.

Hindu girl healed from jaundice
For months, Sangita (below) would feel feverish and weak in her body. Her doctor had put her under treatment, but the symptoms persisted. Then our Elijah Challenge workers came and ministered to Sangita in the wondrous name of the Messiah Jesus. She was then miraculously healed from the jaundice, and accepted Jesus Christ.

Hindu girl suffered from seizures
Her mother Jayanti (below) had taken her to the hospital where a doctor had prescribed medicine for her. But after taking the medicine for a long time there was no change in her condition. The seizures continued. Then our Elijah Challenge workers reached Jayanti’s village with the gospel. They ministered to her daughter in the wondrous name of the Messiah Jesus. The girl was then healed with the seizures ceasing. After that Jayanti’s family believed and accepted Jesus Christ.

The Elijah Challenge equips nameless harvest workers to reach resistant people groups fruitfully by training them to heal the sick miraculously and consistently as Jesus did and as he promised that believers would do (John 14:11-12)—as irrefutable evidence that Jesus is the Messiah and the only way to the One True God who created the heavens and the earth. These thousand reports (out of thousands of reports) were received from our workers during approximately the past four to five years.
Since 2018 our trained workers in and around Odisha have planted over 2,165 new house churches with over 72,000 new believers as of October 2025, reaching 50 previously unreached people groups, including high caste Hindu groups which are among the most resistant and difficult to reach. This is in the region of Orissa (Odisha) State alone, considered the poorest state in India where Fundamentalist Hinduism reigns. Conversion to Christianity and water baptism are illegal. Up in North India our trained harvest workers are seeing similar harvests among the Hindus and Sikhs.
