Praise Report – August 2022
Now unto HIM that is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto HIM be glory in the church by CHRIST JESUS throughout all ages, world without end. Amen. Ephesians 3:20-21
In August the first gospel meeting and feeding event was organised by Pastor Sunil Sharma in Talwandi which is remote village about 65 kms away from the city of Ferozepur in Punjab. The meeting was attended by over 300 people. Pastor Sunil has been planning for this meeting for Pastor Simon Haqq for a long time but it eventually took place just now. Pastor Sunil and his team went from door to door to invite people to this meeting and it was great blessing to witness about 85 people accept Jesus as their Saviour. At least 10 people were delivered from evil spirits as Pastor Shakuntala preached the word and prayed over these people. One girl who was possessed for the last 3 years and have stopped going to the school was delivered and she resumed her school and normal life. One toddler who had a big boil on his eye was healed. The boil had remained for months despite several treatments. The mother of this toddler called Pastor Shakuntala after one week to report the healing miracle. Another young girl who came to get prayed for her hair loss called Pastor Shakuntala after about 15 days and testified that she senses regrowth on her scalp. The doctors had told her that it was not possible to get her hair back without the hair transplant treatment.
The second gospel meeting and feeding event was organised by Pastor Sumit in the village Jalalabad, Punjab. Pastor Shakuntala preached about Healing and Deliverance to the gathering of 350 people. However, not many people came forward for the prayers initially but when evil spirit deliverances started to happen then other people started coming forward to get prayed upon. One woman came with boils and testified that during the prayer she felt heat in all the boils and said that the boils started to soften after the prayer. A man came with a crooked feet testified that the thumb of his feet had come in proper place after the prayer. Many other testified healings from different pain and aches. The following day 9 people got baptized and added to the Kingdom.
Pastor Hanok Nathaniel had a gospel meeting and a feeding event in May this year at Village Churtela Pamgarh, Jangir, Chattisgarh. About 60 people got saved in that meeting. From the 60 who got saved 17 people took baptism this month and are now regularly attending Pastor Hanok Nathaniel’s church. We give all honor, glory and praise to Lord Jesus for adding these souls into His Kingdom.
Pastor Hanok Nathaniel had a tent church in Chattisgarh which got blown away in the storm and they were having a church in open for a few months. With Bethel Church and ministry partners we were able to support in building a small hall with tin roof. The construction work is under progress and the church hall is yet to be completed.
In August, 5 people were baptized in Ferozepur and 4 people were baptized in Amritsar. All of these people got saved in the gospel meetings previously held in these areas. All 5 in Ferozepur and 4 in Amritsar now regularly attend the local church.
Bethel church senior members continue to have house meetings on a daily basis. This month we had 37 meetings. We also had a wedding in the church. The groom’s family (originally Hindu) was saved in 2014 and baptized by Pastor Simon Haqq. The bride’s family (originally Hindu) got saved in May 2022 when Pastor Shakuntala prayed over her brother who got delivered from evil spirits. The whole family was baptized in July 2022. We also had a dedication of a baby in August.
We continue to have our weekly bible study online every Saturday with Nishant David. We also have 3 days fasting prayer service on the 1st, 2nd, and the 3rd of every month.
We praise Lord Jesus for using His people for His glory. We also thank all our ministry partners and supporters for their prayers, support and love. May Lord Jesus continue to bless you all.
