Reports from Nepal Coordinator Tee Joo Tatt

December 2014

“Yesterday I taught Elijah Challenge to my fellowship (Sangati Nepalese) people at a Prayer Mountain in Seremban, Malaysia. We spent the whole day there and I came back past 1 AM. …After teaching The Elijah Challenge (how to use our God-given authority to pray over the infirm and minister healing). I asked for people who were sick. There were quite a few, and they received healing following prayer—severe pain in the wrist, a bad headache, giddiness, a bad cough, pain in the foot.

But the most exciting case was a 20-year-old lady who had had an allergic attack and her lips were swollen. My first thought was to have her use an anti-histamine, but of course we had none there. But we just exercised our faith in Jesus and commanded the healing in His name. Just a single command, after which I asked her how she was. She looked at me, closed her lips, and then exclaimed that there was no more swelling! Praise God!

Afterwards I had to give a ride home to some people, and at the end when I drove her and her group home I asked about her allergy. She said it was gone. I told my wife I never knew that Elijah Challenge can be used on an allergy since people will normally simply take an anti-histamines to get rid of the allergy.

There was also one brother who could not attend the Training because he was in charge of the Prayer Mountain. He asked me to take him to a petrol station to buy things…he needed Panadol for some pain. I asked him why, and he told me his shoulders were very painful. I stopped at the side of the road and commanded healing to both of his shoulders in Jesus” name. The pain just left. Praise God! The name of Jesus is so great and powerful. I had the brothers to lay hands and command healing in the name of the Lord, and they saw the power of Jesus’ name for themselves. Praise God! He is such an awesome God!”

[Note: what Brother Joo Tatt in Malaysia did above is simply following what Jesus did in the gospels—which disciples can be doing today as evidence of the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ to the lost.

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him. …Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? …Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the works themselves. Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing… (John 14:6-12)]
