John 14:11 Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the works themselves.
Above “the works” clearly refer to the miraculous works Jesus performed as “the evidence” that “He is in the Father and the Father is in Him”. The miraculous works Jesus performed consisted largely of healing the sick miraculously and casting out demons—as evidence that He is in the Father and the Father is in Him.
Then Jesus made the following difficult-to-believe promise regarding the “the works”.
12 Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in Me will do the works I have been doing…
Up until the present, this seemingly unbelievable promise has not yet been fulfilled by the Church. Only a few preachers with the “gift of healing” (mostly charismatic ministers) might be witnessing miraculous healings in their ministries. But Jesus’ solemn promise to us in John 14:12 above—still valid in this current dispensation—predated the coming of the Holy Spirit and His gifts—and thus has little to do with the “gift of healing”. The promise of John 14:12 is for all believers, whether charismatic or non-charismatic.
Today, during these Last Days, the promise Jesus made to “whoever believes in Him” is beginning to be fulfilled. This is in part fulfilling the prophecy made in Daniel 12:4 that during the time of the end, knowledge will increase. The knowledge of how to heal the sick exactly as Jesus did in the gospels is now increasing and being restored to the Church—for the Great Commission to be fulfilled during these very Last Days. The purpose of this knowledge is to provide irrefutable evidence especially to resistant Unengaged and Unreached People Groups in the Third World who never heard that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life—the only way to the Father—the One True God who created the universe. Therefore, unprecedented miraculous healings for Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, animists, idol-worshippers, and those who believe in witchcraft can make the difference between eternity in hell and eternity in heaven for them.
Since 2000 The Elijah Challenge has been training the Lord’s servants and disciples in the unreached Third World how to heal the sick and cast out demons exactly as Jesus did as recorded in the gospels. Many of them have seen Jesus’ promise of John 14:12 powerfully fulfilled in their ministries as they reach out to the lost with the gospel. We have received reports from them testifying that very many have accepted Christ as a result of the miraculous works done in the wondrous name of Jesus. Even the dead have been raised in Jesus’ wondrous name.
In particular, beginning in 2018, harvest workers in the Indian states of Odisha and Chhattisgarh were trained to heal the sick miraculously exactly as Jesus did in the gospels. In these two states ruled by Fundamentalist Hindus, the maximum penalty for “forcing” Hindus to convert Christianity is life imprisonment. It is therefore very risky to preach the gospel in these two states.
Nevertheless, as of March 2026, these trained harvest workers have led to Jesus nearly 73,000 Hindus—the fruit of the thousands of unprecedented miraculous healings they have performed for the Hindus in the wondrous name of the Messiah Jesus. These new believers are now being taught and discipled in over 2,200 underground house churches—and counting. Reports from India
Now…
Gospel workers reaching out to any Unreached and Unengaged People Groups in the Third World can be trained in the same way actually to fulfill Jesus’ wondrous promise in John 14:12. In this way, there will be an acceleration in fulfilling the Great Commission during these very Last Days when the remaining time appears to be so very short indeed.
